Your tasks and responsibilities:- Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and submission of tax returns (e.g., corporate income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax) in compliance with local tax laws in assigned ASEAN countries.
- Tax Reporting: Prepare and review tax-related financial reports, including tax provisions, reconciliations, and disclosures, ensuring alignment with local and international standards (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP).

Your qualifications and experience:- Education: Certified Tax Accountant, Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or a qualified lawyer with tax expertise.
- Experience: Around 4 to 5 years of post-qualification tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations in ASEAN countries.
- Proficiency in tax compliance processes, including corporate tax, VAT/GST, and withholding tax. Familiarity with international tax principles, transfer pricing, and cross-border transactions. Experience with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is a plus.

The candidate supports the APAC region focusing mainly on SAA market (Singapore, Australia, Malaysia) with keeping their entities compliant with local tax law, ensures that tax policies and processes are followed, identifies tax risks (and opportunities) and monitors changes in tax laws. Key Responsibilities
- Monitors and supports with CIT, indirect tax, WHT, TP and other (local) tax compliance and reporting obligations in the region
- Supports with the tax aspects of the implementation of a new ERP system
- Supports with quarterly tax provisioning process and annual return-to-provision calculation
- Supports with estimating the tax payments in the cash flow forecast
- Ensures that tax policies are followed, and standard tax procedures are implemented
- Identifies tax risks (and opportunities), and supports with mitigating these risks
- Manages tax aspects of M&A and internal reorganizations
