We're a rapidly expanding mobile gaming company with a global presence and diverse player base. To support our growth, we're seeking a proactive and hands-on International Tax Manager to lead our Singapore tax matters and drive global tax compliance and structuring initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate tax compliance, including tax filings, audits, and disputes, in collaboration with the Finance team
- Oversee timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect tax returns, with support from external tax advisors
- Ensure business models and transactions are tax-efficient and compliant with local regulations through cross-functional collaboration
- Contribute to tax planning, including localization of global tax strategies and assessment of new business models
- Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulatory changes, providing clear updates to management
- Monitor global tax developments, such as BEPS implementation and tax registration requirements
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce tax risk
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; professional qualification recognized by SCTP preferred
- 5+ years of tax experience
- Strong knowledge of Singapore corporate tax and indirect taxes, with experience working with EDB and IRAS
- Familiarity with international tax concepts, including OECD guidelines and global minimum tax regimes
- Proven experience managing tax compliance in multiple jurisdictions, with at least 2 years of experience outside of Singapore and China
- Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin) is a must for cross-border communications

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our growing multinational group. You will support group-wide and regional tax activities, deliver effective tax advisory to our Finance teams across Asia, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax function.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support the Head of Group Tax (Switzerland): Assist with strategic and operational tax duties, providing timely input and analysis on international tax matters
- Business Partnership in Asia: Serve as a key point of contact for local Finance teams in Asia, delivering guidance on direct and indirect tax issues, projects, local tax compliance and tax audit support
- Transfer Pricing: Support the preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements, coordinate with external advisors and assist with transfer pricing planning and analysis
- Tax Reporting and Compliance: Support group and local tax compliance and ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with local, regional, and international requirements
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, digitize, and improve group tax processes and controls, leveraging best practices and technology
- Tax Transparency and Governance: Contribute to the development of group tax policies, internal controls, and documentation to ensure compliance with tax transparency initiatives and regulatory requirements
- Tax Risk Management: Assist in identifying, documenting, and monitoring tax risks, and support the implementation of mitigation measures
- Indirect Taxes: Provide advice and support on VAT/GST and other indirect tax matters impacting group operations in Asia and globally
- Training & Internal Communication: Help develop and deliver tax-related training sessions for finance and non-finance staff in Asia and globally
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field;
- 8 years+ work experience with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in tax within an international or multinational environment (either in-house or with a Big 4 firm)
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian and Asian/international tax regulations, including transfer pricing, direct and indirect taxes
- Experience with tax reporting, compliance and risk management
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision, as well as collaboratively within a global finance team
- Fluency in English (verbal and written); proficiency in additional Asian languages is a plus
- Proactive, hands-on, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
