Job Summary
You will play a pivotal role to ensure clients comply with tax regulations and tax optimization that cover :- Tax Strategy , Tax Functions, Tax Risk Analysis , Tax Control & compliance, Tax Monitoring and Tax Assurance
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the client's tax liabilities and compliance;
- Manage tax audits, inquiries, and investigation cases;
- Monitor & mitigate tax risks by identifying potential tax planning opportunities;
- Review tax computation, tax submissions, tax estimation and tax correspondences;
- Lead and supervise tax professionals within the organization for tax reporting deadlines;
- Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations;
- Provide guidance & training support to finance and accounting teams on tax related matters;
- Work closely with clients and liaise with various government agencies e.g. Inland Revenue Board, Customs, Ministry of Finance and other relevant government agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field;
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in the tax industry;
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CFA, or CTP are a plus.
- Strong understanding of international tax regulations and guidelines;
- Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Communication, interpersonal and client relationship management skills.
