- Review local tax filings, including corporate income tax returns, SST returns, withholding tax returns, and other Malaysia / regional tax filings to ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate timely delivery of a full range of tax and statutory reporting services.

Job Description
The Tax Analyst (Transfer Pricing) is responsible to deal with SLB group of entities' transfer pricing matters and partnering with multiple stakeholders to provide support on transfer pricing and tax audit related issues. The Tax Analyst (Transfer Pricing) is responsible for identifying related party transactions and prepare related party transactions matrixed for various entities of the SLB groups This entails computing the gross margins at entity level for various business segments of respective SLB entities, assist with preparation of transfer pricing reports for entities within the SLB group, review and provide comments on benchmarking reports prepared by external consultants, support tax audits but not limited to transfer pricing audits with preparation of responses and documents for submission to tax authorities and support and assist with the review of Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR).
Essential Responsibilities & Duties
Transfer pricing
- Preparing TP matrixes (identifying related party transactions from GL).
- Compute profit/loss margins of intercompany product/services.
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation.
- Liaise with Geounit tax managers.
Tax audit
- Prepare various tax schedule reconciliations/ breakdowns (i.e. income tax recon-expense breakdown, employee listing recon to EA form, VAT/WHT recon, payroll related recon, etc.)
- Reconciliation of data (i.e. TB, GL, data reported in SL level-local tax authorities)
- Extract and compile supporting documents from ERP systems (invoice, POs, other relevant supporting documents backups)
- Analysis of transactions (i.e. variance analysis, identify nature of transaction)
- Analysis of transactions - WHT treatment (check why WHT not deducted)
- Liaise with various other teams for recon workings.
CbCR
- Ad-hoc support on CbCR reporting
- Review figures input by tax analysts
Qualifications And Experience
- Qualfied members of ACCA/ CIMA/ MIA/ MACPA/ CPA of Australia or equivalents
- Degree in Accounting/ Finance
- 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of international taxation
- Proficient in languages for assigned geographic responsibilities

As a GTC Tax Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to Tax Lead, working with the other Tax Analysts within the regional groups for the Europe region.
- Reviewing and control all the Tax calculations from our various ERPs.
- Completing the periodic filing of tax returns and other statistical reporting such as EC sales listing, intrastat and payment of all Taxes (VAT, Withholding Taxes etc).
- Reconciling all balance sheet tax accounts monthly and any other duties as required.
- Resolving or escalating any queries or issues received and support all Tax and statutory audits.
