What You Will Do
As a Talent Sourcing Specialist at Nexperia, you:
- Proactively search for candidates through various media channels
- Write and post recruiting advertisements. We appreciate creative vacancy content
- Manage the talent pools and ensure that candidates are informed about new vacancies
- Select your incoming applications by suitability
- You are in close contact with fellow recruiters and hiring managers

- A completed Bachelor’s Degree, preferably 1 - 3 years of agency experience
- Familiar with basic recruitment processes

To support the growth of the business, it is essential to ensure a sufficient and ready pipeline of talent that can fulfill hiring demands on time. You will focus proactively on building talent pipelines and identifying qualified candidates for various positions across the organization to streamline the recruitment process and minimize delays in filling key positions.
This role works closely with TA Consultants and Hiring Managers to understand hiring needs and proactively source potential candidates.
You are proficient in the use of technology and tools to widen the search for talents, using advanced sourcing platforms, Boolean searches techniques, data analytics, and social outreach tactics to identify and engage with diverse candidate pools effectively across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Pipeline Building
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive candidates
- Build and maintain talent pools for current and future positions

The Team
You will report to the APAC TA Operations Manager as a key TA team member. The APAC TA team comprises talent acquisition professionals specializing in hiring for different area of SEEK.
The TA team forms part of the broader P&C team, which includes HR Generalists, Remuneration and Benefits, Payroll and HR Information Systems, Corporate Communications, and our Operations Support team.

Talent Sourcing & Market Insights
Source candidates using multiple channels (job boards, social media, Boolean search, etc.). Build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality talent for current and future hiring needs. Manage job postings across platforms to attract qualified candidates. Prepare talent mapping and market insights using PowerPoint for hiring discussions and strategy planning.
Talent Acquisition Operations & Administration
Support end-to-end recruitment activities: candidate screening, interview scheduling, and offer coordination. Assist country TA teams with administrative processes to ensure a smooth candidate and hiring manager experience. Ensure adherence to local labor regulations and Abbott’s internal policies throughout the recruitment process.
Business Partnership & Inclusive Hiring
Collaborate with TA Partners and hiring managers to understand role requirements and business needs. Support diversity sourcing initiatives to attract talent from underrepresented backgrounds. Provide guidance on inclusive hiring practices and contribute to Abbott’s Diversity & Inclusion goals.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team, focusing on sourcing exceptional candidates across Asia Pacific. And slowly developing to source provide market mapping, talent insights. Meanwhile to performing TA operations, and supporting local TA administration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment. Familiarity with the Asian talent landscape and market dynamics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and sourcing tools. Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles. Able to read and write in Mandarin.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Category Management : Analyze spend data and develop sourcing strategies for various indirect categories.
- Supplier Selection & Negotiation: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure service quality.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and corporate standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (e.g., IT, HR, Finance) to understand needs and align procurement efforts.
- Cost Optimization: Drive cost savings through competitive bidding, supplier consolidation, and value analysis.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor supplier markets, assess risks, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Project Support: Ensure procurement timelines align with project milestones, including FATs, site installations, and customer-specific configurations, if required from outside labs.
- Market Research: Monitor market trends and benchmark pricing to inform sourcing decisions.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure suppliers meet regulatory, ethical, and sustainability standards.
SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and spend analysis reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Support Audits & Compliance Reviews : Assist in internal and external audits by providing documentation and ensuring procurement practices meet regulatory and company standards.
- Process Improvement Initiatives: Participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at streamlining procurement workflows and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and training to junior team members or internal stakeholders on procurement tools, policies, and best practices.
- Sustainability & CSR Support: Contribute to sustainability initiatives by sourcing environmentally responsible services and promoting supplier diversity.
- Support Crisis Management: Assist in managing supply disruptions or urgent sourcing needs during project escalations or unforeseen events.
- Benchmarking & Best Practices : Conduct benchmarking studies to compare sourcing practices and identify opportunities for innovation or cost reduction.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in indirect procurement, preferably in an ETO or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing categories such as engineering services, logistics, IT, and MRO.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a project-based environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages (German, Spanish, French or Mandarin) are a plus espically in multinational environments
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
- Experience with SAP systems and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (preferred)
- Master’s degree or professional certfication (CIPS, SPSM, APICS)
- Willingness to travel occasionally for supplier visits or industry events: up to 15% travel
- Solid knowledge and understanding of purchasing processes, policy, and systems

- Plan and procure materials required for manufacturing various product lines.
- Review forecasted requirements and purchase materials accordingly.
- Ensure material availability for manufacturing builds while optimizing inventory turnover.
- Qualify new suppliers through surveys and site visits.
- Assist in establishing new supplier accounts with the finance department.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage returns and secure credit for defective materials
- Work with Accounts Payable to resolve supplier invoice payment issues.
- Plan and schedule material requirements based on customer forecasts and manufacturing production goals.
- Analyze factors such as capacity, board cycle times, urgency, and material availability to determine schedules.
- Assess the internal impact of customer scheduling on various departments like line scheduling, procurement, logistics, and shipping, and adjust orders as needed.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of information used for material requirements planning.
- Revise plans based on actual performance versus planned targets.
- Act as a customer liaison for new product introductions.
- Oversee new product introduction from manufacturing to shipping, aligning with customer requirements, and attend weekly change meetings with customers.
- Review and submit new costs associated with engineering changes.
- Perform purchase order cleanup and confirmations as necessary.
- Resolve critical clear-to-build shortages.
- Directly contact suppliers when required.
- Participate in morning huddles with planners for updates on critical part issues.
- Conduct weekly clear-to-build reviews with Planning to share material status.
- Highlight Bill of Material issues to the EC team for correction.
- For product transfers, ensure continuous order book transfer between sites (Celestica or external).
- Collaborate with site and global logistics to reduce freight costs.
- Provide engineering change order feedback to the ECO Coordinator for cut-ins or revisions.
- Handle cash in advance payment requests.
- Resolve receiving and invoice referrals promptly.
- Update the Cross-Functional Team (CFT) on commodity supply market conditions that may affect material supply.
- Assist with special customer audits, projects, and purchasing-related issues as needed
- Hold at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.
- Possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a related position.
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred due to interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients.
- Knowledge of manufacturing environments, types of materials purchased by departments, and the engineering change process is preferred.
- Basic understanding of production planning fundamentals, scheduling, material requirements planning techniques, and manufacturing control systems is required.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier management is essential.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple business applications is necessary.
- Ability to strategically plan for the coordinated build and delivery of products.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, accuracy, and under tight deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with diverse internal and external customers.
- Relevant experience with ERP/MRP systems, especially SAP, is an advantage.
