Overview of the role:
Freshworks seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a growing team of Engineers that builds and scales one of our many products. As a technical leader, you own the engineering vision and oversee the technical standards your team thrives on.
As a manager of engineers, you coach and develop our promising, young talent and ensure their collective energy is applied effectively and efficiently to accomplish not only the organizational goals, but also their individual career goals. An accomplished record as an individual contributor and experience managing an engineering team is expected to fill these shoes.
What will you be responsible for:
- Lead platform focused, scrum teams. Design and develop solutions to complex use-cases and issues. Serve as a technical expert on the design and architecture.
- Develop talent and grow your team into a high performing healthy development organization.
- You will leverage your leadership to support your team in design, implementation and release of the new experiences you create. Serve as an escalation point for internal customer support and product teams.

About the roleSupport Logistics COE to perform problem investigation, evaluation, and solution implementation.
Information and data gathering on system pain points, work with users on problem statements and value identification.
Carry out system evaluation including industry research as required.
Participate and support implementation activities including documentation e.g. use cases and user stories, process design, system specifications, preparation of workplan, work packages, capturing minutes as well as follow-up actions with the assigned owners.
Map/ update current processes and 3PL Logistics region/ market operations journeys.
Create/ update the RACI charts, process documentation e.g. business requirement definitions, process catalogue, process specifications.
Create/ update the process and systems onboarding documentation.
Support the on-going run of logistics systems including troubleshooting, perform root-cause analysis, incident resolutions, enhancement, and testing activities.
Presenting system incidents and resolutions to key stakeholders. Support demand management and prioritisation as required.
Produce regular key performance indicator reporting, track, and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of Logistics processes and system utilisation.
About youTertiary education in supply chain management, information technology, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in Logistics and warehousing operations, preferably have worked in the third-party logistics (3PL) setting or organisations e.g. DHL.
Good experience in documentation, mapping of the business processes, understanding the process hierarchy, including dependencies across processes and systems.
Preferably proficiency in SAP Logistics/ EDI, Signavio, Delivery Management Platform such as Aftership/ Centiro/ ParcelLab or alternatively in other Logistics systems.
Strong experience in project delivery lifecycle, understanding key stages of required work and activities i.e. requirement gathering.
Demonstrated ability to work with the cross-functional teams, including IT, business process owners, and other stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self-driven with the ability to offer solutions to problems.
Proven experience in change management initiatives and collaborating with IT teams to deploy technology solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to end-users and other stakeholders.

The System Design Senior Manager will oversee the System Design Team's operations and development, focusing on system development, debugging, and customer deliveries. This role involves direct customer engagement to ensure that our solutions meet and exceed expectations. You will guide our strategy, collaborate with engineering development teams, and work closely with global system development and customer engineering teams to deliver cutting-edge system solutions.
The Person
This role demands extensive technical experience, problem-solving abilities, management acumen, and interpersonal skills. You should be an effective communicator, capable of building respect and conveying status updates to executive-level audiences.
We seek an ambitious engineering leader with a proven track record in system design and development. Coupled with the ability to foster cross-team collaboration, mentorship, and the development of technical leaders. Strong multi-functional alignment and team-building skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the System Design Team in developing, validation, debugging, and delivering system solutions. Directly engage with customers to ensure successful delivery and implementation of system designs. Define and align hardware, software, and firmware requirements to achieve system improvements. Assess current system capabilities and identify opportunities for generational enhancements. Grow and develop the system design team to support existing IP/SOC/SW/FW engineering and product management teams. Establish and maintain ecosystem partnerships for solution components. Ensure system assessments and customer platform attainment to deliver industry-leading products. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and with development partners. Collaborate with architects to set design and development plans and objectives (IP, SoC, Power, Firmware, System, etc.).
Preferred Experience
15+ years of extensive experience in system design and development, with 10+ years in management. Strong technical breadth and depth, with expertise in system-level impacts on performance, power consumption, hardware/software integration and SOC/IP level validation. Proficiency in hardware, firmware, and software, with a comprehensive understanding of their interplay. Proven track record of effective communication and relationship-building with executive-level audiences.
Academic Credentials
Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s Degree (MS) preferred.

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia is recruiting on behalf a global FMCG leader offering a portfolio of ingredients, flavors, and integrated solutions. Our distinguished client is seeking for a ICT MDG Solution Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of SAP MDG solutions within our organization. This role requires a technical understanding of SAP MDG, data governance principles, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and analysis, with a focus on MDG systems. The candidate will also have proven experience configuring MDG and be comfortable making configuration changes in the MDG system and moving changes through to production systems.
The role will involve partnering with technical teams such as PLM, SAP, ECC SFDC and other key stakeholder functions and require a strong technical understanding of SAP MDG.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with our business stakeholders to configure, solution and deliver a pipeline of enhancements across Material, Product, Customer and Vendor spaces
- Work with the Commercial Delivery Enablement Lead to deliver the digital roadmap to ensure our systems remain up to date and future-proofed against emerging technology
- Actively own, promote and improve the Global Template for ICT MDG
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data governance requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards and policies
- Design ICT solutions that meet business needs and stay updated with the latest SAP MDG trends, technologies, and best practices
- Coordinate all aspects of the delivery of changes for both MDG via transports and in client configuration
- Represent the function in integration sessions, Change Approval Board (CAB) and other dependent projects.
- SAP transport management - Ensure development lifecycle is followed correctly by functional/technical resources.
- Manage and resolve production issues related to SAP MDG from a processes and system point of view
- People management. Managing "up" and "down" to superusers, business stakeholders, ICT colleagues and direct reports.
- Develop and maintain documentation processes, configurations, and best practices
- Ensure the Master Data Management team adhere to ICT KPI metrics
Key Requirements
- Degree in an ICT or other related discipline
- Extensive experience in a similar role and environment with exposure to SAP MDG (3 years plus)
- Proven experience configuring MDG and managing changes through to a production environment
- Stakeholder Management/Business Engagement experience
- Comprehensive Project Management experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- People Management experience
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and practices/ data management tools and technologies
