- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
- Configure, Manage and Maintain Microsoft 365 tenants
- Manage network servers (including Azure infrastructure & Linux), routers, and switches
- Support compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues proactively
- Implement and manage firewalls, access controls, and security measures
- Handle system backups and disaster recovery planning
- Provide technical support and training across teams

About Role
In this hands-on role, you will be part of an energetic and growing team whose primary role is in managing Convatec's global IT Infrastructure. You will be responsible in managing the Linux ecosystem, focusing on day-to-day operations and optimization tasks, involving installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization. Duties include user access management, backup implementation, performance and troubleshooting to support business requirements.
The role will require participation in on-call rotations, incident response, and collaboration on simple projects. Our APAC GBS supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Monitor health, security, and performance of Linux servers and systems
Maintaining system stability and ensure high availability
Implement backup and recovery strategies
Manage capacity planning and resource allocations
Implement and manage security controls, patches, and updates
Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities and threats
Enforce access controls and privilege management
Establish best practices and standards for Linux environments
Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes
Install, configure, and optimize Linux operating systems
Manage software packages and dependencies

About You
Min 3 years hands-on technical experience with tertiary education in relevant field
Experience working in a Shared Service environment supporting APAC/Global markets will be an added advantage
Certifications in Linux system administration are considered a plus, such as RHCSA, LPIC-1, CompTIA Linux+
Strong stakeholder management experience Problem-solving abilities to see issues through to resolution
Experience in managing small-scale projects

About You Min 3 years hands-on technical experience with tertiary education in relevant field

Strong stakeholder management experience Problem-solving abilities to see issues through to resolution
