JOB SCOPE
System Configuration & Maintenance
Perform configuration and maintenance of ERP modules (e.g. SAP ECC, BPC, ARIBA) and related system interfaces. Coordinate and implement system patches, upgrades, and configuration changes to ensure system stability and compliance with requirements. Support the execution of system backup verification and disaster recovery (DR) drills.
Change Request & Issue Resolution
Review and validate system-related change requests, including impact assessments and documentation. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Testing & Implementation Support
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and system rollout activities. Ensure all enhancements and fixes are thoroughly tested before implementation.
System Documentation & Governance
Maintain comprehensive documentation including system workflows, SOPs, technical guides, interface maps, and system architecture. Liaise with audit and compliance teams on system-related matters and support audit readiness efforts.
User Access & Control Management
Conduct regular user access reviews and manage role provisioning to ensure proper segregation of duties and system security. Maintain user access matrices and ensure alignment with internal control policies.
User Support & Training
Provide technical guidance and support to end-users across departments for system navigation, error handling, and reporting. Assist in developing training materials and deliver system training sessions as needed.
Monitoring & Reporting
Track and report key system performance indicators (KPIs), usage analytics, and system exceptions. Monitor interface jobs, system logs, and ensure timely issue escalation and resolution.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field from higher learning institutions recognised by the Malaysian government Minimum 4 years of working experience in system support, IT operations, or ERP systems (SAP preferred). Familiarity with SAP ECC, BPC, or ARIBA is an added advantage Basic understanding of financial processes and ERP systems. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to analyze basic logs or reports to detect errors. Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia Able to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
