This includes PRA SS2/21, SS2/22 as well as local banking laws and other regulatory laws as applicable. Job Overview
We are seeking a visionary and pragmatic Enterprise Architect to join our Group Information Technology leadership team. You will play a pivotal role in designing and governing the technology blueprint for the entire TIME Group , ensuring that our systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business strategy.
You will shape the future-state architecture across core platforms including SAP HANA (via RISE), CRM, Microservices, DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Identity Management , while streamlining and aligning systems across our Wholesale, Enterprise, and Consumer business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Architectural Leadership
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the Group’s long-term business and technology goals.
- Solution Design & Governance
- Lead the design of complex, end-to-end technology solutions. Establish and enforce architectural standards and best practices. Provide leadership on strategic initiatives, including the SAP HANA migration , system consolidation , and DevSecOps rollout .
- Systems Integration
- Oversee the integration of legacy and modern systems to ensure data consistency, operational efficiency, and ecosystem cohesion.
- Identify opportunities to leverage modern technologies to unlock new business value, enhance customer experiences, and improve operational effectiveness.
- Architecture Problem Solving
- Tackle complex, ambiguous problems with a first-principles mindset. Use structured architectural thinking to define feasible solutions from scratch.
- Provide informed guidance on architecture decisions, including hands-on assessment of frameworks, tools, and platforms (e.g., Kafka , Keycloak , AWS vs GCP ).
- Partner with business unit leaders to design modular, future-ready architectures tailored to their specific needs, while maintaining cohesive cross-group collaboration.
- Secure-by-Design & Compliance
- Embed cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance standards into all architectural designs in partnership with the Group Security Office.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the CIO and ExCo, helping evaluate technology investments and articulate architectural risk/reward trade-offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in architecture roles.
- Proven ability to lead complex architecture efforts across large-scale enterprise systems.
- Hands-on experience in both infrastructure and application domains.
- This is not a theory-only role – practical implementation experience is required.
- Experience in management consulting + industry environments is highly desirable.
- Certifications such as TOGAF , Zachman , or equivalent frameworks are preferred.
- Deep familiarity with SOA , microservices , event-driven architecture , and cloud-native principles .
- Extensive experience in championing and steering enterprise-wide technology transformation, guiding the organization through the complexities of modernization efforts such as cloud adoption, aligning IT with business strategy, and improving operational efficiency.

The Challenges
- Co-develop company enterprise digital blueprint and architecture which encompasses vision, strategies, and plans for growth through evaluation and analysis of target solutions, creation of solution models that integrates between businesses and customers, leading the strategy fortechnology platforms, partnerships and external relationships, identification of new opportunities for growthand maintenance of digital technology strategic plan so as to ensure alignment between the organization and it's overall business objectives.
- Develop together with functions within the organization both short- and long-term digital and technological solutionsthrough assessment of current and anticipating business needs. conduct wideenterprise research, benchmark and provide responses against business pain-points which are related to technology assets ranging from servers to application development, collaborate with business and technology solution providers, to help determine relevant solutions for the organization, which will enable the firm to achieve it's business goals.
- Conduct an effective assessment of the digital portfolio of the current and emerging digital landscape, identify potential disruptive changes and technologies that could potentially impact the organizations performance and business operations. Steer the implementation of risk assurance on digital portfolios including future investment, identification and recommendation of relevant technologies for adoption an the evaluation of successful adoption of potential solutions which are business-critical.
- Lead efforts in setting up, managing and scaling up the ideation methodology across the organization by establishing design thinking workshops, and running innovation labs which will assist the organization in building out innovative solutions for the business.
- Integration architecture design and maintenance will be a crucial component to this role, where focus will lie in minimizing operational downtime and ensuring performance of integration and transaction processing speed are always at optimal performance.
What It Takes
- 13-15 years working experience preferable in technology relative to
industry; 7-10 years of working experience in an enterprise architecture
or solution design position within a fast-paced and fast-evolving
environment, preferably working as an IT Transformation/Digital/IT
Strategy/Enterprise Architecture senior level role. - Experience in Banking/Financial Services and Consulting, would be a major advantage.

We’re looking for a Principal Enterprise Architect to lead the design, alignment, and governance of complex IT systems across business domains.
