Minimum 6 years of working experience with at least 2 years of solid experience in sustainability project management, carbon assessment, or similar roles
Strong understanding of carbon accounting methodologies (operational & embodied) and energy benchmarking tools (e.g., CRREM)
Experience with green building certification systems (LEED, BREEAM, etc.) and investment screening frameworks
Proficient in energy and carbon reporting standards, ideally within a real estate or industrial asset management context

Sustainability Roles
Play key role in the establishment of sustainability pillars and create sustainability roadmap, initiatives, and action plans in those areas
Assess risk and identify mitigation management
Provide background research that will aid company quest to achieve sustainability goals
Provide insights and creative ways in which company may communicate and showcase sustainability commitments
Lead in collating, identification and analysis of necessary data based on reporting standards
Provide relevant insights to develop educational and communicational material and initiatives to promote awareness and adoption
Ensure company complies with government, regulator and Bursa sustainability guidelines
Influence and persuade relevant stakeholders, agencies, and partners on company’s sustainability agenda to ensure planned initiatives will have the necessary buy in
Oversee drafting of sustainability disclosures and reporting
Facilitate and identify content direction of company’s sustainability training for employees and partners
Research, identify and secure ESG grant opportunities
Research, suggest and secure collaborative opportunities with various external stakeholders to deliver sustainability goals
Communications Roles
Lead in media engagements and develop sound strategy to ensure consistent company visibility
Brief and work with Media Agencies to assess, analyses and implement the most impactful media plan
Lead all experiential activities for the Corporate and Sustainability, working closely with relevant Agencies and the Logistics department for events and placements
Develop strategy for a consistent Digital and Social Media Communication engagement plan, working closely with the internal & external Digital team
Manage Corporate, Commercial and Sustainability campaigns where relevant
Work with relevant agencies to produce communication, disclosure and reporting content
Support in business critical communications such as crisis communications
Stakeholder engagement
Support in engagements involving MCMC and KKD communications team
Support in engagements with various other ministers and government related agencies
Take the lead in engagements involving NGOs related to the sustainability agenda
About You
Degree holder in Mass Communications, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, or its equivalent
10 years of experience in a relevant role, e.g corporate communications, public relations, sustainability, journalism, marketing communications, branding, advertising, etc
Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in using tools like MS Office, Adobe Experience Manager and social media platforms
Interest, experience and/or knowledge on corporate sustainability will be a plus point but not a must, as there will be opportunities for on-the-job training
Curious with desire to learn new things
Driven and a self-starter
High attention to details and timelines
Able to perform under pressure
Well-read and keeps up to date with latest developments in socio-political issues, pop culture, etc.
