Responsibilities
Develop a design concept and outline requirements in line with stakeholders' needs, consulting with consultants, and aligning with the project's direction. Involvement from the design stage, design development, project implementation, construction, completion, and DLP period of the integrated security system.
Review security design drawings and specifications, ensuring the functionality, practicality, constructability, and compliance of the projects.
Liaise with relevant parties on all physical security system matters, including the consultants and contractors.
Attend and run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.
Manage security system integration vendor, contractor, and contracts to deliver projects.
Manage and conduct security equipment and system installations, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
Manage and conduct security system health checks and evaluate security system performance and compliance to industry standards.
Communicate the status of programs with project management, stakeholders, and conduct program reviews.
Travel Requirements Must be willing to travel 30% of the time as required when launching new locations.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience working in designing, implementing, and managing integrated security systems for large-scale mixed-use development.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects.
Experienced in vendor management and procurement processes, to include the establishment of key performance indicators and service level agreements.
Demonstrated ability to interpret program objectives, develop project schedules, manage vendors, project budgets, and adhere to tight timetables.
Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate effectively with both internal and external partners regarding standards and design plans.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to and control change on a project.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree or higher in a related field of engineering, or project management
Subject Matter Expertise with Access Control, Video Surveillance Systems, Physical Barriers, Security System Integration, Testing & Commissioning.
Demonstrated ability to use AutoCAD/Desk, BIM, and Microsoft Project.
Functional knowledge of enterprise-level physical security systems such as Access Control, Video surveillance, Physical Barriers, Security System Integration, and Crime Prevention Methodologies.

Get to Know the Role
As a Security Systems Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain Grab's physical security systems across offices in the region. This includes managing projects for CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems, as well as ensuring system reliability and compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
You will work closely with Grab CREST (Corporate Real Estate and Security Team) and Cybersecurity team, and external vendors to support Grab's rapid growth and physical infrastructure needs.
This role is onsite and based in Indonesia and report to Head of Corporate IT.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
Lead implementation of physical security systems during new site builds, retrofits, and expansions.
Prepare and review security design documentation: device layouts, wiring diagrams, bill of materials (BOM), and as‑built drawings.
Coordinate with vendors, integrators, and project managers on schedules, installations, and commissioning activities.
Conduct testing, configuration, and quality assurance checks of installed systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous system uptime.
Maintain site documentation, including change records and maintenance logs.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system issues.
Conduct physical site risk assessments with Corporate Security Teams onsite and support mitigation design.
Ensure all work complies with Grab security standards and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need
More than 5 years of hands‑on experience working with physical security systems such as access control, CCTV, VMS, ISMS, CACB, and related technologies
Basic to intermediate understanding of IP networking (switching, PoE, subnetting).
Ability to read technical drawings, network diagrams, and floor plans.
Experience coordinating with contractors or vendors on physical installations.
Willingness to travel regionally
Good to have:
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation or system integration.
Exposure to AI/ML tools or video analytics for threat detection or incident filtering.
Vendor certifications (e.g., Genetec, Gallagher, Axis).
Project management experience or certifications (e.g., PMP).
Physical Security Professional (PSP) or equivalent certification

We are deploying a comprehensive Hospital Information System (HIS) across one of the region's largest hospitals and its network of branches. The infrastructure must support a mission-critical, highly available, and scalable application, with flexibility to run on either cloud or on-premises environments. Responsibilities
Support deployment and maintenance of infrastructure including App Servers, DB Servers, Reporting Servers, and DR. Assist in the setup of SQL Server Always On Availability Groups or Replication environments. Ensure servers and systems are configured per architectural guidelines and operational requirements. Implement server and storage configurations (CPU, RAM, Disk, RAID) as per sizing documents. Configure network components including firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs to ensure secure connectivity. Work with the networking team to maintain high availability and network performance. Monitor servers, applications, and network components using enterprise tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds). Respond to alerts and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and apply corrective actions. Perform regular patching, updates, and health checks on infrastructure components. Execute daily/weekly backup routines and ensure backup integrity. Support disaster recovery (DR) testing and ensure DR sites are kept in sync. Participate in documentation and execution of failover procedures. Enforce security policies across infrastructure layers including access control and endpoint protection.
