The Clinical Application Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring the provision of on-site advice and assistance on the usage of surgical equipment and products during surgical operations. The job holder is also accountable for the conduct of training for the surgical, nursing personnel and sales team to ensure that they are familiar with and confident in using the products. Support surgical cases according to product usage instructions while adhering to infection control and observing patient safety as first priority

Execute and coordinate the scheduling and management of clinical cases ensuring that all cases are attended to by the Clinical Application Team competently and promptly

Ensure that surgical personnel receive correct advice and adequate, professional support in the operating theatres and provide on-call assistance when necessary

Support case management improvement projects to increase efficiency

Training

Assist in training new sales and clinical staff and assess them, ensuring that they are familiar with the features and applications of the products and able to respond to the typical questions posed and difficulties faced by the surgical personnel

Accompany new sales and clinical staff to attend cases in the operating theatres, providing on-site guidance

Prepare and conduct in-service training for the surgical and nursing personnel ensuring that they are familiar with and confident in using the products

Work with regional sales team and local sales leadership team to develop training materials and competency assessment documents

Review and ensure that the clinical application contents, training materials and quizzes in the Learning Management Platform are accurate, up-to-date and systematically presented

Business Development and Others

Identify business opportunities while attending to cases or interacting with customers and users and pass on the information/leads to the Sales Team for follow-up

Join the Sales Team at times and demonstrate the use of the products to lend credibility to the value of the products and technical expertise of the Company to help secure the sales

Manage and optimise expenses in thoughtfully organising training, events and work activities and using resources

As a

Senior Sales Executive

for

ORS (Consumables), SGM (Instruments), Neuro & Power tools, and Minimally Invasive Surgery

at B. Braun you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and maintain strong customer relationships in the surgical sector, achieving yearly targets and supporting surgeries as needed across

Perak

region. As well as build the portfolio to greater heights within the business.

Your key responsibilities:

Grow, defend, and develop the sales within the given territory by achieving yearly sales target within the department and product portfolios, in this case –

Operating Room Supplies (ORS), Sterile Goods Management (SGM), and Neurosurgery .

Foster good business networking and business relationship with the customers, as well as maintain good customer relationships through trust and credibility building, as well as identify key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.

Regularly attending industry events, trainings, company meetings, briefings, and educational workshops.

Attend surgery ethically and diligently in the surgery according to company and hospital SOP whenever needed by the hospitals and surgeons to achieve the best outcome to the customers and patients.

Ensure successful implementation and execution of sales / service strategies defined by the Business Units Managers / General Manager.

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferably in Business or Science.

Min 3 years of healthcare sales experience, preferably in medical devices.

Various selling techniques and able to apply / demonstrate it during business / product promotion to customers.

Strive to innovate in business and aspire to lead a team in the future.
