Cygnet Hospital Kewstoke provides an emergency admissions service for men and a pathway for women from low secure to rehabilitation, including a specialist service for personality disorder.

This role involves 12-hour shifts, working a mixture of days and nights.

The hospital has over 16 acres of landscaped grounds overlooking the Bristol Channel. Its beachside location, just outside Weston-super-Mare, offers a quiet, peaceful, and therapeutic environment with a broad range of therapies including CBT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and DBT.

Reporting Relationship

The In-Home Support Worker will report directly to the Manager of Family Services; maintain communication within the department and internal working relationships with all Departments within M’Chigeeng First Nation.

Position Summary

The role of the In-Home Support Worker for Parents and Families is to provide personalized guidance, education, and support to families within their homes. This specialist will work closely with parents and First Nation Band Representatives and other service providers to develop a Family Wellness Plan to support families who are at risk of becoming involved in child welfare and who are involved in child welfare.

The goal is to engage and empower parents with the skills and knowledge needed to foster their personal growth and wellbeing and in addition their children's and youth’s growth and well-being.

The In-Home Support Worker will work closely with parents and service providers to develop effective parenting strategies, enhance child development, and create a nurturing and structured home environment.

Essential Functions

  • Ensure all M’Chigeeng First Nation protocols and Bylaws are adhered to and program activities are conducted in accordance with recommendations and policies as set by Chief & Council.
  • Will be current on all Child Welfare matters as required to act as an authorized Representative of M’Chigeeng First Nation and to act as an advocate and lobby for prevention and intervention solutions to issues directly affecting M’Chigeeng First Nation Families.
  • Incorporate and promote Anishnabek cultural values, beliefs and practices and Anishinabemowin into program delivery.
  • In collaboration with the Manager of Family Services ensure that service coordination and service flow processes from intake, ongoing service planning and discharge is completed based on In-Home Support, policy and procedures.
  • Provide assistance in the development of Orientation and Public Relations documentation and presentations to promote the In-Home Support Program.
  • Practice strict confidentiality, privacy, ethical and non-bias approaches.
  • Formulate concrete goals and objectives and identify appropriate internal and external resources to meet identified needs in the provision of services to children, youth and families.
  • Engage in regular liaison with Family Resource Team staff, other related programs and/or departments within the Community and external agencies.
  • Input service/wellness and other service and financial documentation into the case management software system on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Will take an active role and participate in interdepartmental strategic planning activities by assisting in the formulation of annual program goals and objectives for the in-home support services and family resources program.
  • Efficient utilization of caseworks case management software for the program.

Parenting Education and Training:

  • Conduct individualized assessments of family needs and dynamics.
  • Develop tailored plans to address specific parenting challenges and goals.
  • Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations of effective parenting techniques.
  • Educate parents on child development stages and age-appropriate activities.
  • Offer guidance on discipline strategies, positive reinforcement, and behaviour management.
  • Teach parents how to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive home environment.

Child and Youth Development Support:

  • Observe and assess children's developmental milestones and behaviours.
  • Collaborate with parents to set developmental goals and track progress.
  • Provide activities and resources to support cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development.
  • Offer strategies to enhance language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Address any developmental concerns and complete referrals when required and needed.

Family Dynamics and Communication:

  • Facilitate effective communication between family members.
  • Encourage positive family interactions and bonding activities.
  • Provide skills and tools to assist with resolving conflicts within the family unit.
  • Promote healthy relationships and emotional well-being.

Household Management:

  • Assist parents in establishing routines and schedules for daily activities.
  • Offer guidance on time management and organizational skills.
  • Help with budget management when required.
  • Support parents in creating and maintaining a clean, orderly, and functional home.
  • Provide tips on meal planning, nutrition, and healthy eating habits.
  • Help parents balance work, home responsibilities, and self-care.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Social Work Degree and/or Human Services from an accredited university with 4-years frontline child welfare or social services sector.
  • Registered member in good standing with recognized educational institution or professional association

Minimum

  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Social Services or related field with 2-years direct work experience in frontline child welfare or social services sector
  • Working knowledge of community resources and development
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of child welfare systems
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of First Nations Child & Family matters and interests
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; combined with the ability to negotiate positive results while managing positive relationships

RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Community Building and Engagement:

  • Professional in Telegram and Discord bots development, integration, and maintenance.
  • Organize and host community events & AMAs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive community culture by moderating discussions and addressing user concerns.
  • Encourage user interaction and participation through contests, giveaways, and other engagement initiatives.

2. Content Creation and Curation:

  • Develop and publish high-quality content, such as blog posts, articles, and social media updates, related to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and provide tutorials on OKX's products and services.
  • Curate and share relevant content from other sources to keep the community informed and engaged.
  • Respond to user comments, questions, and inquiries promptly and informally.

3. User Support and Onboarding:

  • Provide excellent customer interaction to users through various channels (e.g. social media).
  • Assist users with account creation, verification, general issues, and troubleshooting.
  • Onboard new users and educate them about the platform's features and functionalities.

4. Community Campaigns and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new users and retain existing ones.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product, web3) to promote our products and services.
  • Monitor and analyze community metrics to measure the effectiveness of community campaigns.

5. Community Partnerships:

  • Collaborate with other crypto projects, influencers/KOLs, and communities to expand the platform reach and network.
  • Foster partnerships to create mutually beneficial collaborations and cross-promotions.

6. Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Monitor community activity for potential risks or issues and take appropriate action.

7. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze community metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on community engagement, growth, and key performance indicators.

Support ServicesCoordinatorplays a key role in ensuring smooth operations within our claims management process. You will support internal teams by maintaining systems, managing data, preparing reports, and ensuring timely delivery of services in line with client expectations.

You will work closely with adjusters, clients, insurers, and service providers, contributing to high quality customer service and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain third-party systems and coordinate with IT or vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Accurately register and manage claims information in our internal system.
  • Monitor and report on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely actions and compliance.
  • Prepare and format weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as needed.
  • Support Bordereaux report preparation, including manual verification and data entry where required.
  • Upload claim documents into insurer portals and systems.
  • Assist with invoicing and collections processes, responding to client inquiries and following up on overdue payments.
  • Answer general phone lines and provide administrative support to branch offices when needed.

What are we looking for?

  • At least a SPM Holder
  • Fresh College Graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in a call center or administrative support environment preferred
  • Strong typing skills and high literacy/numeracy levels
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Malay languages is essential
  • Basic knowledge of insurance industry practices is ideal
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Procurement Officer - Support Services who will be supporting the Global Procurement Services (GPS) team. This role involves end-to-end management of vessel and corporate procurement and invoicing processes. Key responsibilities include ensuring all subscriptions and purchases are correctly linked to purchase orders, accurately coded, and matched to invoices and financial periods. It also includes processing and verifying invoices in a timely manner using Eyeshare, maintaining accurate vendor and banking details, and liaising with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, payment queries, and manage vendor accounts. The role requires strict adherence to financial procedures and proactive issue resolution.

Position: Procurement Officer - Support Services

Location: Menara 1 Sentral - Kuala Lumpur

Report to: Procurement Manager - Support Services

What You'll Responsible For:

  • Manage and process all vessels subscriptions ensuring that:

- Every subscription is linked to a purchase order.

- Purchase orders are correctly created and account coded.

- Invoices are matched to the correct purchase orders and financial period.

- Missing invoices to be identified and followed up with suppliers.

- Raise separate purchase orders for any exceptional cost and set for vessel managers’ approval

  • Manage Corporate Procurement spend as follows:

- Purchase orders are raised in accordance with procedures and/or work with stakeholders on the creation of Purchase orders

- Goods receipt transactions are recorded

- Invoices are matched to purchase orders

- Report non-conformances

  • Manage Vessel and Corporate invoices as follows:

- Ensure all incoming invoices via electronic mailbox are scanned and essential details are captured correctly prior registration in Eyeshare.

- Ensure all invoices received are registered into Eyeshare within agreed timeframe from date of receipt

- Ensure all invoices are registered with the correct vendor, amount & currency.

- Ensure bank details stated on the invoices are checked/verified against bank details registered in system before invoice is registered.

- Liaise with other management centres, Procurement officers, WVA Treasury, Corporate Accounts and vendors with regards to invoice receive from suppliers on the Statement of accounts and payment queries and Vendor Bank Details

- Other duties as assigned

What Experience and Skills Required:

  • Diploma/Degree in commerce, business administration, accounting and/or finance.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

  • Experience in Invoice Registration in SSC environment.
