**Job Purpose and Impact**
The Supply Planning Manager responsible in managing a team of supply, material and production planners to ensure sufficient supply and optimum inventory for business continuity and growth. This role will provide long term supply strategies across networks to address capacity issues and production location decisions in support of business goals. In this role, you will drive key integrated business planning performance indicators, cost to serve performance data and coordinate cross functional work teams for higher service level.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Supply Planning

+ Perform inventory matching for monthly cycle count/year end physical stock with system records to identify discrepancies at internal and external tankers, tollers, internal and external warehouse.
+ Perform annual/bi-annual ABCXYZ matrix for SKU rationalization.
+ S&OE & IBP process owner
+ Facilitate the S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) & SP (Supply Point) process.
+ Provide supply visibility and risk assessments to support business decision.
+ Process Optimization
+ Leverage ERP to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.

What You Will Need To Be Successful Education Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field.

Experience Minimum five years in supply planning, replenishment or inventory management within FMCG, food & beverage or manufacturing.

Ability to lead, empower and develop a team of planning professionals, ideally within a global environment.

Business proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Prior line‑management experience required.

Experience in performance management, setting objectives, providing feedback and conducting reviews.

Proven expertise in global supply‑planning with a strong understanding of the production‑planning process from raw materials to finished goods.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with partners and colleagues at all levels.

Highly proficient in digital planning tools (ideally Kinaxis) and exposure to ERP systems such as SAP ECC or S4 HANA.

Curious attitude focused on problem‑solving and exploring solutions using data and analytics.

Strong coaching and mentoring skills to enhance team members’ capabilities.

Experience with recruiting and onboarding teams (desirable).

Learn more at About Your Role You will coordinate all aspects of Supply Planning tasks for 2 business units: Reflective and Labels business in both RYP (Rayong, Thailand) and BGP (Bangi, Malaysia). Being the contact window for Reflective Product order inquiries and communication. Raising non-inter sites SOs (Sales Orders) on the ERP system. Maintaining SOs data to ensure that SOs due dates are up to date and pricing is correct. Planning of RM (Raw Material) and Production schedule. Monitoring demand versus capacity. Coordinating with Logistics regarding the imported RM and exported FG (Finished Goods). Managing RM, WIP, and FG movement between internal and external warehouses to be aligned with the production schedule, storage space, and logistics cost minimization. Monitoring and controlling total RM, WIP (Work In Process), and FG inventory amount per inventory target. Managing and controlling slow-moving and expiry inventory. Projection of items, quantification, and amount to be consumed. Identify the root causes & actions. Summary of written-off inventory and chargeback proposal. Updating Item planning parameters on the ERP system. Performing any other related assignments as assigned by the superior. Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required. 5 years of related production and raw material planning experience. Experience in customer service is preferred. Project lead experience preferred. Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow, and improvement strategies (e.g. ELS, continuous flow, cellular, etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation. Own the end-to-end demand & supply plan for Singapore and Malaysia to deliver service level, GM targets, and inventory/working capital within agreed tolerances. Lead the S&OP/S&OE cadence and be the single source of truth for forecast, supply, and inventory risk. Roles And Responsibilities Demand Planning Build a statistical baseline and consensus forecast (brand/channel/SKU-week) incorporating promo, seasonality, campaigns, mega events (9.9, 11.11, payday) & new product introduction. Drive forecast accuracy KPIs (MAPE/BIAS by hierarchy) and publish weekly variance commentary with drivers and actions. Own NPI demand: launch quantities, ramp curves, cannibalisation, and phase-in/phase-out plans tied to marketing calendars. Lead the monthly S&OP process for Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring timely updates to the APAC deck. Champion weekly S&OE to resolve exceptions (constraints, short-ships, expedites, allocations) and ensure a feasible execution plan. Maintain a live risk register and scenario plans (e.g., port delays, quality holds, surge demand). Supply Planning & Inventory Develop supply plans aligned with demand forecast, and with considerations of MOQ, lead times, capacity, and shipment waves. Monitor safety stock level to balance service level policy and working capital. Govern allocation rules for constrained supply across retailers and channels. Drive OTIF/Fill Rate performance with 3PL/factories; publish inbound/outbound shipment plans. Identify SLOB/E&O early; run clearance plans with Sales/Marketing; and manage EOL run-out. Data, Systems & CI Own planning master data integrity (SKU, UOM, lead time, MOQ) Use Power BI to automate reports and drive continuous improvement (reduced expedites, inventory turns). Requirements Degree in supply chain management, logistics management or equivalent hands-on experience. 8–12 years in demand/supply planning (consumer electronics, SDA, or FMCG preferred) in SG/MY. Hands-on with software (e.g., Oracle) and Power BI (Excel/Power BI/SQL). Strong S&OP leadership, stakeholder management (Sales, Marketing, Finance, 3PL). Get to Know the Role You will be based onsite in Malaysia and reporting to our Senior Data Science Manager. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will look into driver-facing problems and transform these user and business challenges into data science opportunities. You will use big data to derive actionable insights and design solutions. You will develop deep learning, reinforcement learning, and optimization models to solve challenges related to supply repositioning, activation, and incentivization within Grab's marketplace.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify the business problems and requirements about driver repositioning, activation and incentivisation.

You will translate the business problems into data science problems, formulate them and design potential solutions.

You will retrieve and analyse relevant data for exploratory analysis, feasibility studies, and solution prototyping.

You will develop and deploy scalable data science solutions, and measure their impact via experiments.

You will build dashboards to keep monitoring the health of DS systems, and continuously maintain and improve the solutions.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

At least 4 years of experience in the relevant field.

Degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, data science, applied mathematics, economics, operations research, or other related computational fields

Familiar with developing data processing Extract, Transform and Load pipelines to support data analysis and modeling tasks

Experienced with the machine learning lifecycle. Hands-on experience in developing scalable, end-to-end machine learning solutions.

Understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering practices, experience in writing readable, maintainable and testable code including hands-on experience with unit and model testing

You are proficient in SQL, Python, TensorFlow (or Pytorch) and Spark

Hands-on experience with user profiling and behavioral segmentation for building and deploying recommender systems is a significant plus.

The experience of building real-time streaming applications with Apache Flink will be a plus. Being proficient in Scala or Golang will be a plus.
