The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of material handling in the order fulfilment, receiving, warehouse operations and delivery, including managing third party warehouse and toller relationships, inventory accuracy, and S&OP planning. Leads and ensures adherence to the appropriate processes, sets the priorities and meets our customers OTC requirements. You will be required to focus on achieving performance objectives which are in line with the organisation’s vision and overcome those obstacles that may inhibit our Water Technologies Division from achieving these business goals. You are required to: Ensure smooth end-to-end SCM operation, planning and monitoring the processes for CMS and ES of customer inquiry, inventory management, and order fulfillment
Work closely with the local sales team, Supply Chain team and other functional teams in order to streamline business processes and enhance customer partnerships to ensure that all supply chain activities are in line with business objectives
Continuous improvement of operations, resulting in cost savings and service improvements
Ensure regulatory compliance with our Water Technologies Division policies, procedures, and government regulations

Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain & Customer Service regarding scheduling and delivery related activities.
Inventory Management Be capable of determining the business inventory management strategies and objectives
Know how to set up an effective inventory control system and understand the different classes of inventory
Maintain high inventory accuracy through various techniques including inventory audits, quarterly physical inventory stocktakes, and cycle counting
Manage inventory level to achieve target with and effectively manage surplus and obsolete inventories
Third Party Warehouse, Logistics & Toller Management Ensure 3PL vendors meet company requirements on EHS & Compliance through regular audits
Analyse gaps/failure in 3PL vendors and set up corrective and preventive actions
Monitor 3PL vendors invoices to ensure costs are billed correctly and timely
Monitor quality of tolled products
Ensure that all agreed procedures and KPIs such as OTD, inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, etc. are met
Product & Regulatory Compliance Accountable locally for Supply Chain and business regulatory compliance by ensuring required permits are available and valid
Monitor regulation changes and ensure regulatory compliance in all local aspects i.e. customs, import/export licenses, labels, DG storage and waste disposal
Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance in all logistics aspects i.e. IMDG, IATA, road transport, customs and permits/licenses
Brilliant Fulfilment Drive operations to achieve Supply Chain KPIs such as On Time Commitment (OTC), freight and logistics costs targets, inventory etc.
Actively drive Operation Excellence to deliver better customer outcomes
Participate and promote continuous improvement activities, health and safety awareness, and adherence to supply chain management
Initiate and verify cost saving programs
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business At least 2 years’ experience in Inventory Planning, Logistics or Distribution. Expertise in Chemicals or Water Treatment is an advantage Strong knowledge and understanding of local regulations related to Chemicals Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s) SAP Knowledge is preferred and MS Office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) is required Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource management Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability Additional Requirements: The ability to become rapidly competent with new software applications
