Overview

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will focus on data analysis, data cleanliness, feedback and collaboration with both internal and external resources. The role requires the individual to collect, analyze and interpret compliance data related to global supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collection, analyzing, and interpreting compliance data.
  • Coordination of engineering BOM, supplier data, purchasing data and compliance reporting data
  • Management of data cleanliness related to vendor master, material master, merge files and supplier data reporting.
  • Perform data scrubs
  • Point of contact for compliance inquiries for internal and external feedback, including vendor communication
  • Assist with management of non-standard regulatory data including obsolescence and items outside external agency scope.
  • Assist in standard collaboration with external agency including campaign support calls and data meetings.
  • Know and understand multiple regulations within the global trade arena is a plus

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, logistics or related field
  • Minimum two years of experience in supply chain data analysis, compliance or related role.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience with SAP (Supply Chain modules)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, V/XLOOKUP)
  • Strong data analysis skills with a focus on accuracy and process improvement
  • Familiarity with engineering BOM structures
  • Ability to interpret technical drawing (preferred)
  • Some compliance knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Detail-oriented with time management and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to make informed decisions aligned with established guidelines

Job Description

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of material handling in the order fulfilment, receiving, warehouse operations and delivery, including managing third party warehouse and toller relationships, inventory accuracy, and S&OP planning. Leads and ensures adherence to the appropriate processes, sets the priorities and meets our customers OTC requirements.

You will be required to focus on achieving performance objectives which are in line with the organisation’s vision and overcome those obstacles that may inhibit our Water Technologies Division from achieving these business goals. You are required to:

  • Ensure smooth end-to-end SCM operation, planning and monitoring the processes for CMS and ES of customer inquiry, inventory management, and order fulfillment

  • Work closely with the local sales team, Supply Chain team and other functional teams in order to streamline business processes and enhance customer partnerships to ensure that all supply chain activities are in line with business objectives

  • Continuous improvement of operations, resulting in cost savings and service improvements

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with our Water Technologies Division policies, procedures, and government regulations

  • Share best practices with counterparts across the region and globally

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Operations Planning

  • Lead & sustain the S&OP process by actively engaging commercial teams and PSI Lead through demand planning

  • Ensure customer requirements are met in accordance with agreed schedules through stock availability

  • Work with commercial, PSI and business operations team on NPI and other special projects in alignment with the company’s Medium-Term Plan (MTP)

  • Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain & Customer Service regarding scheduling and delivery related activities.

Inventory Management

  • Be capable of determining the business inventory management strategies and objectives

  • Know how to set up an effective inventory control system and understand the different classes of inventory

  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through various techniques including inventory audits, quarterly physical inventory stocktakes, and cycle counting

  • Manage inventory level to achieve target with and effectively manage surplus and obsolete inventories

Third Party Warehouse, Logistics & Toller Management

  • Ensure 3PL vendors meet company requirements on EHS & Compliance through regular audits

  • Analyse gaps/failure in 3PL vendors and set up corrective and preventive actions

  • Monitor 3PL vendors invoices to ensure costs are billed correctly and timely

  • Monitor quality of tolled products

  • Ensure that all agreed procedures and KPIs such as OTD, inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, etc. are met

Product & Regulatory Compliance

  • Accountable locally for Supply Chain and business regulatory compliance by ensuring required permits are available and valid

  • Monitor regulation changes and ensure regulatory compliance in all local aspects i.e. customs, import/export licenses, labels, DG storage and waste disposal

  • Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance in all logistics aspects i.e. IMDG, IATA, road transport, customs and permits/licenses

Brilliant Fulfilment

  • Drive operations to achieve Supply Chain KPIs such as On Time Commitment (OTC), freight and logistics costs targets, inventory etc.

  • Actively drive Operation Excellence to deliver better customer outcomes

  • Participate and promote continuous improvement activities, health and safety awareness, and adherence to supply chain management

  • Initiate and verify cost saving programs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Inventory Planning, Logistics or Distribution. Expertise in Chemicals or
  • Water Treatment is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of local regulations related to Chemicals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s)
  • SAP Knowledge is preferred and MS Office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) is required
  • Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource management
  • Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability

  • The ability to become rapidly competent with new software applications

  • Ability to build business partnerships across and between functional groups, with the potential to lead projects

  • Effective problem-solving techniques and skills relating to delivery of outcomes

Job Summary:

We are looking for a researcher specialised in Supply Chain Management. As a Researcher at the Aerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre (AMIC), you will be expected to conduct extensive research and data analysis to optimise the end-to-end supply chain for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). This position requires a deep understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges within the SAF ecosystem, from the souring of sustainable feedstocks to the delivery of SAF to end-users. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive our mission towards a more sustainable aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse feedstock supply chains based on availability, seasonal variation, and feedstock quality.
  • Identify and evaluate feedstock sourcing strategies to ensure practical, cost-effective, and sustainable supply for SAF production.
  • Create predictive models to account for long-term planning based on feedstock availability, production capacity, and market demands for SAF.
  • Evaluate regional and global feedstock market dynamics to anticipate supply risks and price volatility.
  • Gather and analyse data on market trends, regulatory policies, and technology advancements in the SAF industry to inform strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with sustainability certification schemes namely Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) and ClassNK.
  • Collaborate with feedstock, chemical process engineers, logistics specialists as well as software developers to integrate logistical data and mapping into a modelling platform.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Operations Management or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with the CORSIA framework, RSB, ISCC and ClassNK sustainability criteria.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modelling and impact assessments.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

This position is responsible for coordinating with sales on forecasting, demand planning and supply management, sourcing and project management, playing a key role in supporting to achieve Asia Supply Chain initiatives. What You’ll Be Doing

Forecast & Demand Planning

  • Follow Sales and Operations Planning process by engaging Sales, Marketing, Finance (and external market distributors where necessary) in a collaborative planning process to produce a detailed and accurate rolling 6 months forecast at SKU level for all brands. Ensure forecasts follow accepted methodologies, have an analytical basis, and have cross functional buy-in to enable smooth execution goal attainment. Improve forecast accuracy step by step.
  • Provide direction, guidance and recommendations to Sales and Marketing teams on supply plans, production schedules and other critical path deadlines for promotions, new SKU/product introductions.

Supply Planning & Orders Management

  • Work with Operation Supervisor to develop supply plans for Asia region from different fillers.
  • Be familiar with ERP system and work with Operation Supervisor for sales order processing (ex. print invoice & packing list from system and mail to MDs, excluding orders entry).
  • Coordinate with IT team on ERP, and related system. Gather internal business requirements and support team on system reporting development.
  • Coordinate with customs clearance agency and forwarders to ensure that custom clearance is in accordance with Customs and Quarantine regulations.

Sourcing

  • Build and maintain cost models for Asia regional office SKUs and production.
  • Manage the tier 1 and tier 2 commercial and sourcing relationships for production in Asia region.
  • Analyze cost models to achieve accurate cost transparency and seek opportunities to optimize COGs.
  • Identify and monitor appropriate commodity indices and oversee the development and maintenance of the commodity database and tracking to include raw material price, cost breakdown, etc. to better understand and support the cost reduction plan.
  • Implement, maintain and improve the Supplier Management Program. Maintain key supplier relationships, manage supplier’s performance metrics and scorecard, measure those metrics to accomplish improved results which will provide improved service levels to our customers and contribute toward increased sales.

Project Management

  • Support supply chain projects and coordinate with Quality Assurance, R&D, Marketing, and Sales to improve profitability and promote consistency and conformance to customer, company and logistics requirements.
  • Support New Product Development projects and provide proposal or related information to NPD team for decision.
  • Manage and maintain Product Bill of Materials. Responsible for collaborating with R&D and Quality to maintain the product BoM in Master Control.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external 3rd party packaging and supplier partners to achieve specified outcomes required to meet business objectives.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • 3+ years related experience in supply chain, such as order processing, demand management, sourcing and project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accounting, or a related field.

The

Key Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager will be a key contact point for End-to-End process and services including, internal & External function which includes leading a warehouse team & oversee day to day in warehousing daily operations. You will review all aspects of operations in meeting on time delivery, conduct inventory management, prepare inventory reports, ensure all functions of logistics support are in line with business demands and implementation of systems and constant work improvements.

Job Description

  • To contribute to operations planning and recommendations for strategic plans and reviews and prepare and complete action plans
  • To implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards, resolve problems and identify trends
  • Analyze process workflow, resources, space requirements and implement changes
  • To forecast requirements, prepare an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
  • Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
  • Manage operations staff levels, wages, hours and contract labour against revenues
  • Manage relationships with key operations vendors
  • Identify and address operations problems and opportunities for the company
  • Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
  • To plan for short and long-term operations goals
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
  • Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations
  • To work with the finance team to assist with planning of general finance, budgeting & Profit and Loss.
  • To promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale

Key Qualifications

  • Preferably with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in operations
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Familiar with business negotiations and decision-making

Colgate Supply Chain Management Trainee Program is an 18- 24 months development program crafted for high potential young graduates, equipping you with professional and leadership skills needed for you to chart your way to an exciting career with us!

Throughout the program, you will be gaining critical manufacturing & supply chain management experience within the Supply Chain Management and Quality functions in which you will get exposed to the vibrancy of a complex and competitive business & manufacturing environment, be challenged intellectually and be encouraged to find innovative/creative solutions to challenges.

  • Degree or Master’s degree holder with CGPA 3.2 and above in Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Materials & Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology in Manufacturing Systems
  • Fresh graduates or those with less than 2 years full-time working experience are welcome to apply (excluding internships & part-time work)
