Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the Definition of a Product Bom analytics framework from data to interface to deploy a consistent methodology and tool to show the Product Bom analytics vertically for a top-level product and horizontally across the product portfolio
Capability to report product analytics on gaps and opportunities which will contribute directly to the product cost roadmap
To run a global local scope of analytics related to regional vendor portfolio and manufacturing plant
To collaborate with stakeholders within supply Chain and external functions such as finance, Account executive, IT, engineering… to ensure the data the data quality and the good complementarity of the product Bom analytics with other implemented reports/analytics to avoid report redundancy
To collaborate with SCM lead analyst who is driving the Material margin tracking dashboard/report of the product cost roadmap
To pro-actively drive recommendations to improve product Bom cost and risk exposure. Recommendation to take into consideration the material strategies in place in SCM and sites
Ensure Data Quality related to Customer product is high and consistent
Ensure continuous improvement of the product cost analytics system development (ideally integrate AI and/or ML in product Bom analytics management)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

**Job Description**
Implement purchase order, manage supply chain and optimize purchasing channel & methods with the objective of ensuring cost-effective, on-time delivery and good service to internal customer and external customer within the TE Penang purchasing policies and procedures
**Order management**
(i) Based on customer orders, create Purchase Order;
(ii) Follow up order confirmation , on time delivery and the correct shipping method;

Recommending shipment mode adjustments in response to supply chain disruptions, capacity constraints, or changes in demand patterns
Conducting simulation analysis to provide the impact of changes to stocking policy and mode of shipment on leadtime, inventory, warehousing, and transportation cost
Ensuring governance processes are in place to maintain data accuracy and consistency of stocking policy across Malaysia and Philippines plants and stakeholders
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stocking efficiency, optimize inventory, and cost, and enhance customer satisfaction
Supporting capability building by training supply chain teams on stocking policy concepts, tools, and governance processes
Following up on block inventory and push owners to solve issues
Follow RMA closely on time
What you already have:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain management.
5+ years working experience in Supply Chain roles – Materials Planning, Factory Planning, Finished Goods Planning
Experience using SAP S/4 Hana, IBP, or equivalent planning tools is a must
Strong analytical continuous improvement skills as well as a good understanding of data analytics capabilities
Proven end-to-end Supply Chain experience, with a strong focus on strategic aspects rather than purely tactical or operational functions.
Expertise in stocking policies, logistics, and related processes.
Demonstrated involvement in Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects.
Strong cross-functional collaboration experience.
Proven capability in implementing new processes and systems.

Job Overview TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Analysts are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain as scheduled and maintain inventory at established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.
Job Description Implement purchase orders, manage the supply chain, and optimize purchasing channels and methods to ensure cost-effective, on-time delivery, and good service to internal and external customers within TE Penang purchasing policies and procedures.
Order Management
Based on customer orders, create Purchase Orders.
Follow up on order confirmation, on-time delivery, and the correct shipping method.
Escalate delivery issues to supervisor.
Demand management, forecasting, and full kit on FO shortage report to ensure on-time delivery to production.
Inventory Management
Plan, analyze, and manage high-value inventory consumption and scrap methods.
Handle EM15/20 reports, cancellations, or rescheduling in/out.
Lead internal supplier material localization efforts.
Rebalance inventory across affiliated plants to achieve ITO targets.
Supplier Management
Review supplier performance (cost, delivery, quality) monthly.
Draft action plans based on supplier performance results.
Participate in annual supplier audit meetings.
Work with sourcing teams to develop suppliers and set up consignment arrangements.
Improve supplier quality levels.
Others
Handle material returns and replacements.
Manage vendor payment exceptions.

What a typical day looks like
Drives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.
Presents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flex preferred suppliers.
Interfaces with customer or supplier in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.
Develops and leads implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.
Manages component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.
Tracks materials financial performance and initiates corrective actions when required.
Defines and implements pricing and costing strategies.
Coordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.
Develop and implement cost take down strategies.
Increase Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Lead-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in materials sourcing, commodity management, supply chain design/management, production planning, or other related areas.
A background in electronics manufacturing and a thorough understanding of Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) product development process.
Strong data analysis skills.
Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel.
