- Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Optimizing warehouse layouts and processes to increase productivity and service levels.
Delivery Management: Lead the Delivery Manager in developing strategies for timely and cost-efficient delivery. Focus areas include:
- Developing effective delivery strategies.
- Managing third-party logistics providers and carriers for transportation efficiency.
- Monitoring performance metrics for on-time delivery, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, adjusting as needed.
Supply & Demand Management: Supervise the Supply Demand Manager to balance supply and demand through forecasting and planning. Focus areas include:
- Overseeing demand forecasts based on data and market trends.
- Optimizing inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
- Managing slow-moving or non-moving stock to prevent costs.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the managers, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Set clear goals and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
- Drive professional growth and ensure team skills and tools are adequate.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to improve supply chain efficiency.
Strategic Planning and Execution:

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Operations Planning
Lead & sustain the S&OP process by actively engaging commercial teams and PSI Lead through demand planning
Ensure customer requirements are met in accordance with agreed schedules through stock availability
Work with commercial, PSI and business operations team on NPI and other special projects in alignment with the company’s Medium-Term Plan (MTP)
Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain & Customer Service regarding scheduling and delivery related activities.
Inventory Management
Be capable of determining the business inventory management strategies and objectives
Know how to set up an effective inventory control system and understand the different classes of inventory
Maintain high inventory accuracy through various techniques including inventory audits, quarterly physical inventory stocktakes, and cycle counting
Manage inventory level to achieve target with and effectively manage surplus and obsolete inventories
Third Party Warehouse, Logistics & Toller Management
Ensure 3PL vendors meet company requirements on EHS & Compliance through regular audits
Analyse gaps/failure in 3PL vendors and set up corrective and preventive actions
Monitor 3PL vendors invoices to ensure costs are billed correctly and timely
Monitor quality of tolled products
Ensure that all agreed procedures and KPIs such as OTD, inventory accuracy, shipping accuracy, etc. are met
Product & Regulatory Compliance
Accountable locally for Supply Chain and business regulatory compliance by ensuring required permits are available and valid
Monitor regulation changes and ensure regulatory compliance in all local aspects i.e. customs, import/export licenses, labels, DG storage and waste disposal
Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance in all logistics aspects i.e. IMDG, IATA, road transport, customs and permits/licenses
Brilliant Fulfilment
Drive operations to achieve Supply Chain KPIs such as On Time Commitment (OTC), freight and logistics costs targets, inventory etc.
Actively drive Operation Excellence to deliver better customer outcomes
Participate and promote continuous improvement activities, health and safety awareness, and adherence to supply chain management
Initiate and verify cost saving programs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business
- At least 2 years’ experience in Inventory Planning, Logistics or Distribution. Expertise in Chemicals or
- Water Treatment is an advantage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of local regulations related to Chemicals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s)
- SAP Knowledge is preferred and MS Office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.) is required
- Effective time management skills including sequencing of own work and resource management
- Self-motivated with high sense of urgency, resourcefulness and adaptability

Ability to build business partnerships across and between functional groups, with the potential to lead projects
Effective problem-solving techniques and skills relating to delivery of outcomes
Strong presentation skills, including facilitating team meetings and engaging groups to achieve outcomes
