    • The Supply Chain Manager will lead our supply chain operations with a strategic vision to optimise costs and drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.     Key Responsibilities:

    Procurement

    • Strategic Procurement Planning. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project delivery and company goals, ensuring material availability while minimising waste and obsolescence. Manage cost initiatives and control purchasing budgets to support competitive pricing.
    • Demand Forecasting and Inventory Management. Collaborate with Sales and Project teams to accurately forecast demand, maintain optimal inventory levels, and optimise purchasing strategies. Proactively find solutions to clear slow-moving stock, ensuring inventory remains agile and cost-effective. Analyse market trends in the solar sector, identifying potential supply chain risks and opportunities (including material prices and shipping costs).

    Warehouse & Logistics

    • Logistics & Delivery Coordination. Oversee and coordinate the delivery of materials from warehouses to project sites. Working closely with suppliers, Project teams, and transporters to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
    • Oversee Warehousing Operations . Working closely with third-party service providers to manage receiving, storing, and distributing goods, while implementing inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels. Ensure warehouse KPIs are met including safety, security, and compliance with health and safety standards in warehouse facilities. Conduct regular inventory audits and address any discrepancies.
    • Transportation / Logistics Management . Coordinate and manage transportation fleets and third-party logistics providers, ensuring smooth logistics operations from incoming shipments to final delivery at projec sites. This includes developing the optimum cost strategy for warehouse and logistics operations covering our operations in all regions.

    Suppliers Management

    • Sourcing and supplier development . Identify and secure new warehouses, suppliers for solar PV equipment and components, as well as logistics and skylift partners, expanding the supply chain network to support business growth and operational efficiency.
    • Supplier Relationship Management. Manage relationships with local and international suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely deliveries, while continuously evaluating supplier performance.

    Team Management

    • Performance Monitoring. Develop and monitor KPIs for supply chain operations, aligning with business growth targets.
    • Team Leadership and Development . Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer-centric innovation.

    Process Improvement

    • Technology & Process Improvement. Implement and manage advanced logistics software and technologies to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency for residential project deliveries.

Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Supply Chain Planning

As the Supply Manager, your key responsibilities will include the comprehensive analysis and definition of material parameters to optimizing inventory and meeting the required service levels of demand. Material Management and Supply Planning
  • Perform demand-supply insight analysis to plan and forecast total material requirements and ensure optimal inventory positions.
  • Manage escalation process and lead the resolution of supply constraints.
  • Thoroughly analyze and define material parameters such as lead time, safety stock, buffer stock, capacity readiness, and raw material readiness.
  • Optimize inventory and Weeks of Supply to meet demand service levels
  • Optimize forecasts, capacity, and material metrics in commercial supplier meetings.
  • Secure capacity requirements and align with supply and inventory strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement & Business Partnering
  • Partner with cross-functional team such as Material Planning, NPO teams to design and implement new and incumbent supplier compliance assessments across business functions and geographic areas, and recommend effective controls based on those assessments.
  • Communicate material forecasts to suppliers, manage supplier commitments, and resolve supply shortages
  • Facilitate WOS review with stakeholders.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain, Management, Business or Related field of study
Experiences
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in one or more of the following: Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement (preferably with wafers), Supply Chain
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to be a persuasive advocate
  • Demonstrated relationship management skills
  • Innovation and teamwork focused
  • Able to work independently as well as with a cross functional team

Summary of Essential Functions

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and oversee the end-to-end supply chain operations at our advanced manufacturing site in Johor. This site produces high-precision sub-assemblies and X-ray scanning machines. The role covers Material Planning and Purchasing, Production Planning and Scheduling, 3PL Warehouse and Inventory Management, Import/Export Compliance, Inbound and Outbound Logistics, and Customer Order Fulfillment.

The ideal candidate is data-driven, process-oriented, and passionate about operational excellence. They will lead a multidisciplinary team and collaborate closely with internal departments and global stakeholders to drive supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service performance.

Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to :

  • Lead the full supply chain function across planning, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and order fulfillment operations.
  • Drive improvements in core KPIs, including inventory turnover, on-time delivery (OTD), logistics cost efficiency, schedule adherence, and order accuracy.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes to support factory growth and supply chain maturity.
  • Strategically manage material and production planning using MRP principles and capacity modeling to meet customer demand.
  • Optimize inventory levels while balancing availability and working capital objectives.
  • Oversee all import/export activities and ensure compliance with LMW regulations, Malaysian Customs, and global trade requirements.
  • Champion lean warehousing and logistics processes to reduce costs and improve service reliability.
  • Lead the monthly IBP (integrated business planning) process to align supply with demand and coordinate cross-functional planning.
  • Manage customer order lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Partner with global supply chain teams to implement best practices and standardized processes.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, development, and performance management.

You are authorized to act within the jurisdiction and capacity in your job scope to deliver the results/output expected of your job function.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP, CIPS) are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of relevant supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably involving complex assemblies or capital equipment.
  • Substantial exposure to at least three functional areas among planning, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and customer order management.
  • At least 4 years in a managerial or team leadership role with proven people development capability.
  • Hands-on experience in High Mix, Low Volume (HMLV) and Build-to-Order (BTO) manufacturing environments is essential.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong command of SAP (MM/SD modules), MRP fundamentals, and inventory management systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in Power BI and Power Query/Editor is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of analytics and ability to use data for decision-making and problem-solving.
