What you'll be doing
Procurement & Sourcing
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, quality assurance, and reliable delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders (PO) and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
- Maintain accurate supplier databases and price lists.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to prevent shortages or overstock.

Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with qualified suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct supplier performance reviews (price, quality, delivery, and service).
- Support supplier audits in collaboration with Quality and Compliance departments.
Cost Control & Budgeting
- Participate in cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Ensure all purchasing activities align with approved budgets and cost targets.
- Prepare regular procurement reports, cost summaries, and variance analyses.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all purchases follow company SOPs, ISO 9001 requirements, and internal approval limits.
- Maintain complete purchasing documentation for audit and traceability.
- Support internal and external audits related to procurement, suppliers, and compliance.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to understand technical specifications and ensure correct materials are ordered.
- Communicate effectively with Finance to verify invoices, deliveries, and payment terms.
- Support new project sourcing and supplier qualification processes.
Job Qualifications:
· Minimum 2–4 years of purchasing experience in a precision engineering / technical drawing/ manufacturing environment.
· Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of ISO 9001, RBA compliance, and procurement best practices.
· High integrity, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.

Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWorks with stakeholders to address all aspects of procurement management for Contract Manufacturer (CM), including pricing, procurement support, supplier management, supply‑base strategy, market trends assessment, etc.
- Understand business service needs, request for quotation, negotiate pricing, commercial and supply agreements with suppliers.
- Set up “should cost” study and lead quarterly negotiation with suppliers to achieve quarterly and yearly cost reduction.
- Manage overall cost with CM, roll‑up BOM cost, monitor NRE and other special charges.
- Negotiate legal contracts such as NDA, GPA with suppliers.
- Coordinate procurement activities with manufacturing, quality, planning and engineering departments.
- Establish, implement, and administer system and process to evaluate, monitor, report and manage supplier performance and improvement (incl. QBR’s).
- Monitor commodity market trends, effectively reflect market dynamic in terms of supply, cost, etc.
- Identify potential sources or suppliers in business manner.
- Develop and execute a supply‑base strategy to meet the Company’s business growth and requirements.
- Identify, develop and manage relationships with existing and potential suppliers to meet the established cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Quality to identify and drive cost reduction / avoidance activities.
- Collaborate with NPI, Engineering, Quality and Operations to effectively manage NPI procurement related activities.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor degree or above
- 8 years+ procurement related experience
- Familiar with Contract Manufacturer management
- Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment
- Self‑motivated and self‑directed, but demonstrated ability to work well with people
- A proven desire to work as a team member, both on the same team and outside of the team
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problem
- Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines

- Liaise with Category Manager to develop long-term partnerships with key suppliers and facilitate regular meetings to review performance and strategic alignment
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline supplier onboarding and performance during bidding and project delivery stages
- Execute procurement strategy for new bids by adopting appropriate sourcing methodology
- Execute sourcing and develop cost proposals to ensure timely submission and compliance with tender requirements
- Conduct detailed analysis of buy-out items in bid proposals to support effective discussions prior to commercial team meetings with clients
- Lead bid evaluation process and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Engineering, Quality Control, and Legal to ensure thorough and aligned assessment
