We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Strategic Sourcing Functional Specialist to join our team. - Bachelor’s / Masters degree or equivalent work experience in Sourcing / Procurement with relevant experience of a minimum 10+ years in manufacturing plant environment.
- Candidate must be a strong people manager, able to make informed decisions and manage detail and risk.
- Working experience within a global complex organization.
- Strong management and organizational skills to build teamwork and collaboration.
- Builds strong and successful strategic supplier partnerships. Coaches and develop team and provides regular feedback and guidance.
- Significant expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Advanced and validated knowledge of procurement industry cost structures and drivers
- General knowledge of applicable sourcing, planning, and logistics laws and regulations
- Confirmed project management and process improvement experience
- Ability to establish supplier specifications in conjunction with subject specialists, measure and drive conformance to specifications, and manage internal and supplier relationships to achieve desired results
- Strength in meeting or exceeding project achievements and results, while multitasking and prioritizing
- Capable of dealing in high stress environment, balancing operational and strategic priorities.
- Hands-on attitude, strong leadership, influence and communication as well as the ability to partner with a wide range of organizations and interact regularly with senior management.
- Strong analytical skills (risk based) and goal-driven thinking. Focus on the essential facts, with the ability to present results clearly and compellingly.
- Able to foresee problems and works on the solutions proactively.
