About the role:
This role supports the GM of Strategy & Business Development in driving growth through new market strategies and commercial projects. It focuses on practical go-to-market strategies and customer engagement, offering exposure to senior management, Group-wide strategies, and new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Create strategies for entering new markets and competing.
- Conduct customer research.
- Help with demand generation and new product ideas.
- Analyze new market needs and sales tactics.
- Assist the sales team in closing important deals.
- Support key account management.
- Help with go-to-market operations.
- Manage the Program Management Office for the GM.
- Prepare monthly reports.
- Track key initiatives and accounts.
- Oversee the annual budget process.
- Develop strategic action plans.
- Create business cases for new markets and projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business; MBA or related certification is a plus.
- Experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Marketing Strategy in a large company.
- Familiarity with industrial goods, B2B, metering technology, and utilities is a plus.
- Experience with international clients is a plus.
- Strong skills in strategy development and business case creation.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent English presentation and communication skills.
- Great people skills, culturally aware and politically savvy.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Think-cell, Excel, and Word.
- Willing to travel (about 5 days per month), including short-notice trips.

As a Strategic Marketing Manager, Infusion Therapy at B. Braun you will play a vital role in leading and executing strategic marketing initiatives, product training, and relationship management to achieve market share, profitability, and strategic objectives in Malaysia and Brunei.
Your key responsibilities:
- Manage the elements of the marketing mix for the designated and defined range of products to achieve the company’s market share, profitability and strategic objectives in Malaysia and Brunei.
- Develop, implement and evaluate marketing plan(s) and strategies for existing and new products to achieve the sales and profit objectives of the portfolio.
- Monitors and analyse competitor products and marketing activities. For key competitors, develop and maintain the competitor profiles. Develop counter strategy in-line with marketing plan and implement accordingly.
- Identify product training needs and develop products and/or activities to address these needs to groups or individuals. Develop, maintain and improve training materials for internal product training, as well as conduct product training for B. Braun employees in all aspects of product knowledge.
- Conduct routine product competency assessment to relevant critical roles, including Product Application Specialists, Sales Representatives, Area Sales Managers and Therapy Specialists. Document the progress according to company processes.
- Identify and develop positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders through regular interaction and customer visits, and support the sales and education team with in-service education for customers when required.
- Support sales activities within key hospitals as per agreed sales and marketing strategies, and provide leadership and marketing direction to the sales team in sales activities and projects as agreed and established with Sales Management.
- Lead and develop teams through coaching and mentoring, addresses complex, high-impact business challenges, and drives continuous improvement by identifying skill gaps and anticipating future needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related.
- 8+ years or more product management experience in healthcare field, either in pharmaceutical or medical devices.
- Experience in people-management / leadership capacity - lead a team of marketeers.
- Healthcare Industry experience and or a scientific, clinical or nursing background are highly desirable.
- Knowledge in digital landscape and processes within the hospital setting, understanding of hospital information system (HIS) or ICU setup would be added advantage.

Strategic Marketing Manager, Infusion Therapy

Knowledge in digital landscape and processes within the hospital setting, understanding of hospital information system (HIS) or ICU setup would be added advantage.

**Job Description**
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Strategy: Work with the Country GM to synthesize, develop, and execute the in country strategic marketing and commercial plans in line with business goals and objectives.
+ Direct market research and analytics to identify and exploit opportunities, customer needs, market sizing, and develop and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of trends and requirements in the healthcare market.
+ Lead the development and implementation of in country marketing strategies to drives sales growth, market share, brand awareness.
+ Assessment of portfolio competitiveness
+ Create, execute, and continuously evolve the GTM strategy.
+ Differentiated GTM on a short - medium - long term basis and execution thereof.
+ Commercial Operations
+ Optimizes commercial analytics function through optimal governance/policies, standardization (of reporting / visualization / forecasting) that enable improved funnel management, generation of insights from Win/Loss analyses, capture of IB/Competitive intelligence and tracking right sales performance KPIs.
+ Works with in-country analytics resources to report quarterly performance on market, share, visibility, win-rate, coverage, cost to sell; drives PSR to understand reasons for sub-optimal performance, and drives (in collaboration with commercial leaders) programs that enable regaining strength across AKA region.
+ Drive standardization and efficiency of the Inquiry-to-Order and other commercial operations through deployment of tools/technologies, automation, and process excellence including LEAN.
+ Manage SEA6 commercial support team in wing-to-wing commercial support activities
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Ideally a candidate with minimum 8-10 years working experience in the Medical Device or Pharma industry
+ Plus points for the following: 3 (ideally 4+) years in a top tier management consulting firm and additional bonus points for having exposure to diagnostic healthcare services operations or commercial delivery.
+ Strong people leadership experience and servant leadership mindset is required
+ Innovativeness - we want people who think outside the box.
+ Assertiveness - strong influencing skills across business functions is a must; confidence to share difficult messages and defend decisions and make judgement calls (and own them).
+ Commercial intensity - tenacity and grit to drive commercial outcomes
+ Proven relevant commercial management (PnL) experience.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and project management skills.
+ Native fluency in English is a must. Local language knowledge is a great plus.
+ Experience of working in complex business environment & matrix organization with strong influencing and conflict resolution abilities.
+ Ability to build systems and processes that scale, and that provide clear and transparent view of financial outcomes.
+ Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports, matrices and database skills.
+ Clear thinker, takes initiatives, self-starter, accountable and responsibility for own work.
+ Must be highly motivated, results driven, energetic and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization.

A day in the life of a Regional Buyer for Marketing Content:
- Preparing and executing negotiation events - seeking best total cost of ownership (TCO) contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers as approved by the Procurement Managers
- Contributing to the global sourcing strategy by implementing the communication and supplier management plan.
- End to end management of RFx processes in alignment with the category strategy and business objectives.
- Understanding Manufacturing process & best cost of origin to help source the lowest cost
- Ensuring compliance with Nestlé's Business Principles, policies and standards.
- Identifying opportunities and managing regional/global projects to achieve business objectives
What will make you successful:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within Procurement, ideally managing marketing services or other indirect procurement).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization. Love to negotiate and find win-win solutions.
- Ability to successfully lead projects and implement change in multicultural and cross-functional environment.
- Curiosity, high learning speed and the agility to navigate ambiguity.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential. Multi-lingual abilities are advantageous.
