Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, coupled with outstanding communication and project management abilities. Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to execution. Strong business acumen and commercial savvy, with a demonstrated ability to drive tangible outcomes. The opportunity

EY Assurance practice requires a professional who will take responsibility for driving and supporting our Operational Excellence agenda and work to implement various Operations and Finance-related initiatives for Malaysia’s Assurance business, where you will work with Malaysia Assurance Leader and interact across all Assurance Sub-Service Lines Leaders/Group Heads. You will have the opportunity to build relationships, drive initiatives and shape solutions across our local Assurance practice, understand the market and issues, and collaborate with other teams not only within Assurance but beyond.

The position will report directly to Malaysia Assurance Leader and the role would require for the incumbent to have close engagement and collaboration with Service Line support such as Finance, Market Operations, Talent, Resourcing and Quality and Risk Management Teams.

Your Key Responsibilities

In the role, you will be expected to:

Review and monitor key financial & performance measures, KPIs (TNR, Margin, Utilisation, Revenue days) Provide robust regular performance and dashboard reporting with insightful, timely, forward looking and action oriented commentaries Together with Malaysia Assurance Leader, drive the yearly planning process and half-year forecast exercise Drive and monitor compliance around key quality areas to meet internal business requirements e.g. milestones review Local project lead for Global and Area centralisation initiatives Develop and execute other strategic and operational initiatives to drive end to end business performance improvements Analyze, articulate and monitor operational performance issues. Investigate anomalies and coordinate with leaders for the information required, escalate issues, assist in providing insight and solutions Provide communications support for Malaysia Assurance Leader in drafting key messages for Townhalls, prepare management materials, analysis and narratives for Executive or Regional Leadership meetings and liase with communications functions in EY.

Able to work with limited supervision, to juggle conflicting demands and to prioritize work effectively A committed team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, able to articulate clear and logical messages Strong organizational skills, able to work across and project manage multiple-initiatives at a time Ability to work in cross-functional teams and liaise with colleagues in both business and technical roles Good command of written and spoken English.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills – e.g. Pivot, vlook ups and ability to manipulate and draw trends from vast amounts of data Data analytics skills such as PowerBI will be preferred

The opportunity requires a professional who will take responsibility for driving and supporting our Operational Excellence agenda and work to implement various Operations and Finance-related initiatives for Malaysia’s Assurance business. The Role

You will have the opportunity to build relationships, drive initiatives and shape solutions across our local Assurance practice, understand the market and issues, and collaborate with other teams not only within Assurance but beyond. Your Key Responsibilities

Review and monitor key financial & performance measures, KPIs (TNR, Margin, Utilisation, Revenue days) Provide robust regular performance and dashboard reporting with insightful, timely, forward looking and action oriented commentaries Drive the yearly planning process and half-year forecast exercise Drive and monitor compliance around key quality areas to meet internal business requirements Local project lead for Global and Area centralisation initiatives Develop and execute other strategic and operational initiatives to drive end to end business performance improvements Analyze, articulate and monitor operational performance issues Provide communications support for Malaysia Assurance Leader Skills and Attributes for Success

Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Strong analytical thinking and project management skills A team player Agile To Qualify for the Role

Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of working experience, preferably in Professional Services industry Experience in an operations related, business management or control function preferred Strong people management skills and able to work/ manage different stakeholders Attention to detail and ability to analyze problems, design and implement solutions independently A Self-starter A committed team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams Good command of written and spoken English Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Overview Responsible to manage, develop and provide business development support by working closely with the sales teams to provide consulting support and customized solutions based on individual client needs.

Roles And Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Development: Review prospect clients cases and follow-up with sales teams on the progress.

Work alongside client and internal sales team for the development and implementation of client employee benefit strategies to meet client needs.

Plan, organize, and structure work for effective analysis to address client problems, synthesize analyses into relevant findings, and create impactful storylines. Develop business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations.

Provide up-to-date client business insights for decision making.

Build quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner.

Contribute to the development of the company’s intellectual capital, solutions and employee benefits strategies across client engagements.

Setup and drive client solution implementation: Work with the Product, Pricing and relevant teams to provide segmentation and specific support for implementation including materials and tools for new products and initiatives that may be needed by clients. Lead and collaborate with internal and external teams on designing and implementing processes and/or systems and tools that support key solutions and strategies. Ensure all required resources and enablers for each Department are in place for planned delivery/execution. Organize internal processes for approvals and/or signoffs from initial pitching to final onboarding of clients. Lead change management activities for the implementation of client specific solutions and strategies.

Other: Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements.

Minimum Job Requirements

Degree in Finance / Business / Actuarial Science.

Minimum 10 years of working experience. Experience in Consulting is an added advantage.

Highly numerate, diligent, resourceful and independent, ability to multi-task and prioritise.

Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with senior management team, internal & external stakeholders.

Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Strong leadership capabilities that can lead, influence and motivate to create a high performing team.

Detail-oriented and ability to navigate and maintain strong working relationships with other stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
