Reporting to our Regional Strategic Finance Lead, you will drive financial planning and analysis initiatives, business partnering, and strategic decision-making. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a financial forecasting or business partnering role

Proficient in Excel and expanding expertise in business intelligence tools like Power BI

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics

Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Databricks will be an advantage

This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on driving finance transformation initiatives, digitalization of finance processes, and enabling long-term value creation for the Group. What We’re Looking For: The role requires strong business acumen, excellent analytical thinking, and the ability to drive cross-functional projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in finance improvement initiatives, investment support, and providing strategic insights to senior leadership. As a Strategic Finance and Investor Relations Assistant Manager, you will work closely to develop (i) the company's strategic finance activities including financial forecasting, benchmarking, optimization and resource allocation as well as (ii) managing analyst and investor relationships, building investor targeting strategies, and managing various IR-related events. This role will report to Head, Financial Services Strategic Finance, Investor Relations, based onsite at our PJ Office. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

Develop and maintain detailed, accurate financial models to evaluate business growth opportunities and risks. Conduct scenario-based financial simulations to support strategic leadership decisions. Translate financial analyses into concise, impactful insights for external stakeholders, including investors and analysts. Gather and summarize relevant market and industry data to refine Grab's positioning and narrative. Collaborate with leadership to present key strategic recommendations based on financial analysis. Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively in presentations and meetings. Identify trends or insights within financial data to continuously improve decision-making frameworks. What Essential Skills You Will Need

A degree with good honors from a top tier university in any discipline (Finance and Accountancy degree a plus) More than 3 years of experience working in a top-tier sell-side research, investment banking, investment/asset management, or consulting firm Advanced Excel skills in building complex financial models. Translate business requirements / queries into financial analysis and financial projections/models. Commercial background/experience will be a plus. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, reviewing corporate performance, assessing overhead costs, and evaluating sales team profitability. The candidate will prepare performance sheets, maintain financial databases, and generate required reports. A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills is essential, along with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data and handle sensitive information appropriately.

Reconcile daily processes, including project/account reconciliation, review and analysis of monthly financial data.

Perform various financial functions such as analysis, monthly and quarterly corporate performance review, overhead cost review, and sales team profitability.

Prepare and maintain performance sheets of sales, costs, and profit & loss.

Create, maintain, and update financial databases and spreadsheets, and generate various financial reports as required.

Maintain high degree of detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including reconciliation, summary, and analytical tasks.

Organize and synthesize large amounts of data, summarizing key concepts and articulating findings appropriately.

Appropriately handle sensitive information.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Analytics, or equivalent.

At least 7 years of working experience in the related field; preference for stockbroking/financial industry.

Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia & Mandarin (Mandarin an added advantage).
