Overview We are seeking a passionate Retail Store Manager who will be starting in this new division in PRISM+ Malaysia. Being a high growth electronics company, we are looking for a candidate who accelerates growth in our retail segment while providing insights and expertise on how to grow our retail business. This driven and ambitious individual will be overseeing and maximizing sales through the retail sales channel, managing 4 outlets in Klang Valley. Responsibilities

Manage, count, verify, and reconcile daily cash register sales

Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner, while providing quality customer service; answer questions about products and recommend them accordingly

Perform opening and closing procedures effectively according to store policies and procedures

Process and replenish merchandise and ensured stock availability

Lead retail team to maintain visual merchandising and cleanliness standards of the store

Create a positive work environment by motivating and encouraging the team to foster good relationships with one another

Recruit and hire new store employees

Responsible for training and onboarding new employees

Create and manage store schedules

Set, monitor and achieve/exceed retail sales targets to drive improvement in company ranking

Provides timely sales reports and analysis, making recommendations and flagging risks regarding anticipated shortfalls

Working close with company’s management, plan and implement suitable incentives and push out plans to boost sales

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or any relevant course of studies

Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the retail industry

Prior experience in malls landlord relations

Data-driven with ability to analyze data for stocks forecasting

Strong Communication (English/Chinese/Malay) and people skills

About This Role As a Branch Manager, in Retail Operations, your role will be to drive store performance through accurate sales forecasting, team engagement, market analysis, regulatory compliance, and continuous profit optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop accurate store sales forecasts for each calendar month and year, aligning closely with the projections set by the Head Office Sales and Marketing team.

Track daily sales performance and actively engage the store team to meet or exceed forecasted targets.

Conduct ongoing, detailed analysis of key competitors within the area. Provide the Head Office with accurate and timely updates on exchange rates, service charges, promotions, product offerings, and other relevant market intelligence.

Be proactive, focusing on attracting customers and instilling the right attitude into the store team you oversee.

Collaborate with the store team to identify opportunities for improving the store’s Profit and Loss performance.

Ensure all cash movements are accurately recorded, reconciled, and balanced daily before store closing.

Maintain full compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001, as well as Section 3 of Bank Negara Malaysia Guidelines. Ensure that all store activities are conducted in accordance with these regulations.

Position Requirements

Minimum diploma/degree in Business, Finance, Retail or a related field.

Proven experience in retail, sales, or store management.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of financial transactions, AMLA regulations, and compliance procedures.

Ability to drive sales performance and customer engagement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and store management systems.
