About This Role As a Branch Manager, in Retail Operations, your role will be to drive store performance through accurate sales forecasting, team engagement, market analysis, regulatory compliance, and continuous profit optimization.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop accurate store sales forecasts for each calendar month and year, aligning closely with the projections set by the Head Office Sales and Marketing team.
Track daily sales performance and actively engage the store team to meet or exceed forecasted targets.
Conduct ongoing, detailed analysis of key competitors within the area. Provide the Head Office with accurate and timely updates on exchange rates, service charges, promotions, product offerings, and other relevant market intelligence.
Be proactive, focusing on attracting customers and instilling the right attitude into the store team you oversee.
Collaborate with the store team to identify opportunities for improving the store’s Profit and Loss performance.
Ensure all cash movements are accurately recorded, reconciled, and balanced daily before store closing.
Maintain full compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001, as well as Section 3 of Bank Negara Malaysia Guidelines. Ensure that all store activities are conducted in accordance with these regulations.
Position Requirements
Minimum diploma/degree in Business, Finance, Retail or a related field.
Proven experience in retail, sales, or store management.
Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of financial transactions, AMLA regulations, and compliance procedures.
Ability to drive sales performance and customer engagement.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and store management systems.
