About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist to join our Project Management & Space Planning team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic office space planning and managing projects related to our headquarters renovation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure efficient use of office space, budget tracking, and smooth execution of ongoing projects.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Specialist to join our Project Management & Space Planning team at RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will be responsible for strategic office space planning and managing projects related to our headquarters renovation. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure efficient use of office space, budget tracking, and smooth execution of ongoing projects.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare annual budgeting and budget tracking for HQ renovation projects
  • Strategically plan and manage HQ office space, including vacant space, occupancy, and space efficiency
  • Report on Construction in Progress (CIP) for capitalization asset to Finance
  • Verify and check payment submissions related to projects
  • Track and monitor ongoing projects to ensure timely completion
  • Utilize the e-Procurement System to raise Purchase Requests (PR)
  • Act as an I-Supplier user to claim project management fees on behalf of RHB Property Sdn Bhd
  • Manage contracts related to groupwide furniture tenders

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities as Visual Merchandising Manager will include but not limited to:

  • Plan, create and execute VM strategy to enhance multiple sports brands presence in-stores from a creative, commerciality, profitability perspective in line with the company's expectation and the UK direction
  • Hold the lead on projects and supervise intermediate and junior VM
  • Work closely with retail in guidelines execution for products merchandising, window display, brands shop-in-shop merchandising and promotion events.
  • Ensure stores maximize turnover, profit and sell through by using retail space commercially through visual merchandising and space management.
  • Work with buying department to develop packaging that reflects key objectives clarity to customer whilst maximizing product density per space.
  • Work with project department to develop timely guidelines for refit and new stores on layout/ elevation, zoning and min max capacity.
  • Maintain and coaching retail staff on visual merchandising execution.
  • Any other assignments as and when directed by your immediate superior.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A Degree/Diploma in Arts or Design or its equivalent
  • Possess at least 5 years of experience as a Visual Merchandising personnel
  • Good oral and written communication skills (both English & Malay)
  • Teamwork oriented person, good problem solving and listening skills
  • Analytical, meticulous and tactful
  • Must have good knowledge in Power Point, Excel, Adobe Illustrator
  • Attention to details, proactive and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision and within tight datelines

The Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager is responsible for increasing footfall in Under Armour’s retail stores by strategically and attractively displaying products and merchandise across Malaysia (Retail & Wholesale) and Factory Houses in South APAC. This role also oversees the overall visual presentation and store ambiance to maximise profitability, ensuring that all visual merchandising efforts align with brand standards and commercial goals.

Your Impact
  • Deliver and maintain high standards of visual merchandising, including store themes, visual calendars, and execution of displays aligned with brand strategy.
  • Design visual themes in alignment with the marketing calendar, covering window displays, signage, in-store setups, and key focal areas.
  • Coordinate with department supervisors on product launches and visual updates.
  • Plan floor layouts, traffic flow, and display placements to optimize customer experience and highlight featured products.
  • Ensure consistent execution of visual merchandising themes across all brand branches during each visual turnover.
  • Research current and emerging trends in design, lifestyle, and consumer behavior to inform visual strategies.
  • Identify and source materials such as props, fabrics, hardware, and lighting to support display concepts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on visual strategies and promotional events to engage and excite target audiences.
  • Create and manage the visual merchandising calendar and budget for materials and execution.
  • Develop visual merchandising guides and communication packs for the VM team, including layout principles, styling techniques, and standards.
  • Lead and motivate team members to complete displays to high quality standards within set deadlines.
  • Visit stores to train sales staff and VM team on visual merchandising execution and guidelines.
  • Regularly assess and update visual displays, removing outdated setups and implementing improvements based on feedback from colleagues and customers.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in visual merchandising, with a strong retail background
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience
  • Comprehensive portfolio showcasing relevant visual design work
  • Solid product knowledge and understanding of visual merchandising displays and standards
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to deliver thoughtful, effective solutions
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive, driven, and inspiring—able to lead teams beyond their comfort zones and create a sense of urgency when needed

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Manager, Visual Merchandising to enhance the shopping malls under Sime Darby Property and drive shopper engagement. This role is responsible for conceptualising, planning, and implementing visual merchandising strategies and festive displays as well as tactical events throughout the mall common areas.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and execute thematic visual merchandising concepts for common areas, seasonal campaigns, events, and festive décor across the malls under Sime Darby Property.
  • Negotiate with fabricators and contractors on cost optimization for all the festive and tactical projects related to visual merchandising.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align visual displays with brand campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate the design, setup, and dismantling of display props, signage, kiosks, and installations.
  • Collaborate with tenants to enhance their storefronts and in-store displays, ensuring alignment with mall standards and campaign themes.
  • Oversee third-party vendors and contractors involved in production, installation, and maintenance of visual displays.
  • Monitor and ensure visual merchandising elements are consistently maintained to a high standard throughout the mall.
  • Source, manage, and maintain an inventory of display materials, props, and decorations.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, retail aesthetics, and shopper behaviour to innovate and enhance visual impact.
  • Assist in the development of creative briefs, mood boards, and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, brand, and operational standards in all VM activities

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in a shopping mall or retail environment
  • Strong design and styling sense with an eye for detail, colour, lighting, and space.
  • Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp) is a plus.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when required.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly creative and results-driven Visual Merchandising Supervisor to lead our visual merchandising team. This role requires an eye for design, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and a passion for creating engaging shopping experiences that drive sales. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and execution of visual merchandising strategies across our retail locations, ensuring that the brand’s aesthetic, values, and standards are consistently represented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Layout & Design: Comment on store design layouts and product displays to create an inviting and inspiring shopping environment. Ensure product placement maximizes space and promotes ease of shopping.
  • Team Leadership & Training: Manage, train, and mentor a team of visual merchandisers. Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team performance and creativity.
  • In-Store Execution: Supervise the implementation of visual merchandising plans at the store level, ensuring that all displays are visually appealing and correctly executed.
  • Visual Standards: Maintain high visual merchandising standards in all locations. Conduct regular store visits to monitor the quality and effectiveness of displays.
  • Inventory & Product Coordination: Collaborate with the inventory and sales teams to ensure timely replenishment of product displays and coordinate promotional materials to align with store priorities.
  • Trend Monitoring & Innovation: Stay updated on visual merchandising trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities. Incorporate innovative techniques to drive store traffic and sales.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and report on the performance of visual merchandising initiatives. Use data to adjust strategies for maximum effectiveness and sales impact.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in visual merchandising or retail management.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Exceptional visual and spatial design skills.
  • Excellent understanding of retail marketing and consumer trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design of visual ambiance for retail stores, including material ordering, on-site execution, and related tasks.
  • Deliver comprehensive pre-opening visual proposals for new store projects, including 2D visual atmosphere layouts.
  • Maintain and continuously optimize the visual merchandising standards for stores, ensuring both global consistency and regional.
  • Perform regular store visits and visual checks to ensure displays remain fresh, on-brand, and well-maintained. Provide guidance and feedback to store teams to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support visual merchandising for marketing events or related projects and ensure effective implementation of related tasks.
  • To coordinate with merchandising team to ensure stock availability especially new launch for displays.
  • To train store teams on VM best practices, ensuring ongoing adherence to brand standards.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must posses at least Bachelor’s degree or above in Visual Merchandising, Art Design, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Experience in retail industry would be an added advantage.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility, brand awareness, and innovative thinking;
  • Proficient in software such as Photoshop and Illustrator, and skilled in 3D modeling/rendering tools such as SketchUp, Enscape, or 3ds Max.
  • Willing to travel around and possess own transport.
