· Competent in teaching Mathematics at GCE O-Level and/or GCE A-Level H2 and/or H3 content
· Driven and able to lead the department in designing, implementing and evaluating an integrated 6-year Math & Statistics curriculum
· Able to collaborate with key personnel, stakeholders and external partners in curriculum innovation and strategic planning at the school level
· Experience in curriculum and/or management work in secondary schools or junior colleges would be advantageous

- Provide expertise in generating meaningful data insights, including collaboration with line departments for presentation to senior management and policy platforms, through statistical methodologies and analytics.
Statistical Imputation & Forecasting
- Identify and drive relevant areas for statistical analysis/ research on relevant publication with the application of relevant statistical methodology to improve data comprehensiveness and quality.
Statistical Communication
- Plan and strategise effective statistical communication in conveying statistical information and insights to a wide range of audiences.
- Provide guidance on issues monitoring by the unit where payment data can be used to address public queries and collaborate with strategic communications of the Bank to dispel misconceptions or reinforce key messages.
System Enhancement: Monitor progress and deadlines to ensure
- Delivery of comprehensive business and functional requirements for the development/enhancement of the payment related statistical systems.
- Comprehensive system testing covering all business and functional requirements are properly incorporated and that the system is able to meet user requirements in an efficient manner.
Data advisory and advocacy.
- Lead and guide the promotion of data products and enterprise learning programs to facilitate greater data usage across the organization.
- Provide strategic oversight and guidance in delivering advisory and technical services to stakeholders, ensuring the effective utilization of payment data.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to proactively identify, recommend, and publish new or granular data items, supporting the Bank's open data initiatives and broader data-sharing goals.
Provide coaching and feedback to staff and identify training opportunities to help them develop their potential and further enhance their productivity. Plan and allocate appropriate resources based on the work volume to ensure fair distribution of work amongst officers in the Unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Academic qualifications: Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business, Finance, Banking, Accounting, Data Science or equivalent
- Experience: At least 5 years of working experience in central banking environment, with good working knowledge of data analysis and data compilation.
