About the Role: New Era Technology is looking for experienced
Developer- Cards
to be deployed at our prestigious client in
Malaysia
at their
KL
office. The Mainframe Developer will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications in the Cards domain on Mainframe platforms such as CardLink or Vision Plus. Responsibilities
Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and collaborate with business and technical teams in a banking environment. Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications for card processing systems. Write, test, and debug COBOL, CICS, and JCL programs in alignment with project requirements. Manage and optimize data using VSAM and Sequential datasets, and work with NoSQL databases where applicable. Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, QA, and Infrastructure teams. Qualifications
