Job Summary: The Engineer, Project is responsible for overseeing and managing interconnect projects and initiatives within an organization. The Engineer, Project will collaborate with the cross-functional team to ensure projects are executed successfully and meet project objectives. Duties & Responsibilities: Project planning and coordination

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for the projects. Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Team collaboration and leadership

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, planners, production, and buyers to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members.

Product requirements

Work closely with engineering teams on the project and product requirements. Collaborate with engineering on the project or product qualification.

Supply Chain management

Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to define the testing and quality assurance to ensure they meet the required performance, functionality, and quality standards.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation

Identify potential risks during projects and develop strategies to mitigate them. This may include conducting risk assessments, implementing contingency plans, and addressing potential challenges to the project.

Project monitoring and reporting

Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables. Generate regular reports and updates for management, highlighting the project status, milestones achieved, and potential issues or risks.

Continuous Improvement

Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Identify areas for improvement and optimization, and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Experience in project management. Experience in new product introduction of electro-mechanical products. Excellent conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving ability. Excellent computer skills - CAD, word processing, and spreadsheets. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interface within a cross-functional team environment. Experienced in modern manufacturing principles and techniques. Will be required to travel both domestically and internationally, on a periodic basis. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge and experience in GDP and GMP requirements and preferably ISO 13485 requirements. Experience in project planning and familiarity with Microsoft Project. Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related scientific field is required. Physical requirements/Work Environment: This position primarily works in an office environment but will spend a fair amount of time in a production environment. Must be able to travel on a periodic basis both domestically and internationally (including Mexico). The ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand or sit for extended periods and require being able to lift/carry up to 50 Lbs. What your role will be?

• Interface with technical and management staff and Manufacturing team to understand project requirements as well as prepare deliverables to execute work in appropriate and timely manner.
• Lead assigned projects in a systematic and methodological manner from planning to execution. Often working to define ambiguities into specific tasks.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
• Optimize existing processes for improvement in efficiency and cost.

• Supports manufacturing and finance in ensuring data hygiene for key metrics and KPI.
• Ensures that key metrics are defined, developed, and tracked; and that improvements result in a positive impact for each project.
• Coaching and Consulting: act as a resource to the plant team related to improving key cost, quality, speed and working capital results.
• Provide support for enterprise projects as needed.

• 3–5 years of experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or indust rial engineering

• Proven problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills across all levels of the organization

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision

• Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), or equivalent methodologies is highly desirable

• Proficiency in core industrial engineering techniques; experience with AutoCAD is an added advantage

Job Title: Sr Engineer/ Engineer, Continuous Improvement

Job Description: The Role: Sr Engineer/ Engineer , Continuous Improvement Act as Continuous Improvement lead for Kulim plant . What You’ll Do: Lead and drive plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficienc y.

Collaborate with Operations teams to identify , analyze, and implement process improvements focused on productivity, waste reduction, and cost optimization .

Drive Lean deployment at the plant level, emphasizing programs such as Tiered Daily Management, 5S + Safety, SMED, and other continuous improvement initiatives .

Plan and conduct Kaizen events; provide training and mentorship to Kaizen teams on Lean methodologies, including PDCA, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) for both current and future states etc .

Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to assess current processes, uncover inefficiencies, and convert data into actionable insights and improvement plans .

Evaluate the implications of new product transfers on workflows, resource allocation, and process optimization strategies .

Deliver internal training and awareness programs to promote Lean Sigma principles and a continuous improvement culture across all levels .

Utilize data mining techniques to uncover cost-saving opportunities and implement robust performance tracking systems .

Perform ad-hoc tasks and assignments as required to support organizational objectives .
