**Job Overview**
TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. The **Strategic Sourcing Analyst** will be responsible for supplier identification, sourcing strategy development, cost optimization, and supplier relationship management. This role involves driving procurement efficiencies, ensuring supplier compliance, and supporting business needs across multiple regions, including SEA, India, Mexico, and North America. The analyst will play a key role in material productivity, supplier performance, and contract negotiations while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve strategic sourcing objectives.
**Responsibilities**
+ Analyze input requests and identify suitable suppliers from the approved supplier panel.
+ Prepare RFQs, conduct quote analysis, negotiate terms, and manage supplier selection and approvals.
+ Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including "make or buy" analysis and supplier footprint optimization.
+ Ensure accurate PO and info record management, transferring relevant data to SCM.
+ Drive key procurement KPIs, including material productivity, lead time performance, and supplier quality.
+ Manage material productivity, price negotiations, VA/VE projects, and cost reduction initiatives.
+ Optimize supplier pricing, inventory management, and MOQ requirements for production needs.
+ Consolidate supplier footprint, introduce new suppliers, and establish supplier agreements.
+ Ensure compliance with TE regulations (RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals) and contractual obligations.
+ Conduct regular supplier risk assessments and drive corrective actions through QBRs.
+ Support ISO compliance, process documentation, and team collaboration on procurement tasks.
**What your background should look like:**
+ **Education** : Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
+ **Experience** : 10+ years in sourcing, with expertise in electronics, stamping, machining, molding, or connector assembly industries.

Job Overview

Supports the development and execution of commodity strategy for the procurement team and drives the leading indicators like savings pipeline.

Job Responsibilities

Create a supplier sourcing strategy, under strong consideration of customer needs, that defines strategic suppliers into grow, fix and exit suppliers and maintains product footprint, incl. “make or buy”-analysis. Develop suppliers per business requirement with cross functions Drive the attainment and improvement of relevant procurement KPI’s, incl. Material Productivity (CMP), Lead time performance, delivery (STR/STC), and Quality (DLPM). Responsible for improving material productivity by maintaining 125% material pipeline, CMP, TEBIT and WAV analysis Drive cost reduction opportunity with engineering team, lead VA/VE projects Responsible for contracting of supplier commercial agreements, incl. bailment, inventory management and supply agreements. Responsible for preparing RFQ’s, utilizing E-Tools, awarding new business and negotiation all raw materials, components, and tooling Lead the optimization of the Supplier Footprint, incl. setup of new suppliers, reducing number of supplier and resourcing activities Collect and maintain capabilities and capacities of suppliers to avoid constraints Accountable for info record and PO accuracy and communicate relevant data to tactical buyer, incl. lead time, price and MOQ Responsible for conducting QBR’s with strategic suppliers and the drive of respective corrective actions Ensure and Drive MOQ optimization for material/components (incl. finished goods) used by the plant for production and establish supplier agreements, e. g. VMI, EDI, consignment, Scheduling Agreements frame order review, blanket PO) Responsible for calculating impact and getting the PIA approved Ensure data on OV tools is captured and delivered to finance. Conduct risk assessments for new suppliers and legacy suppliers not done yet. Ensure that all suppliers meet TE requirements for compliance (RoHs, Reach, conflict minerals, supplier portal usage) Drive the usage of the of the Supplier Portal by utilization of tactical buyer department Work with team on ISO Related documents, process and compliance check on regular frequency Support the tactical buyer in the following tasks: inventory management components, manage outside product, and block invoices

Job Requirements

Monitors the execution of key strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiates contract terms and conditions and drives sourcing strategies to maximize cost savings. Job Responsibilities

Execute commodity strategies aligned with business objectives Enhancing Localization and Global Expansion, especially for Asia market Monitor global market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors. Mitigate risks related to commodity price fluctuations. Identify and develop new suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Optimize the supplier base to enhance efficiency and quality. Conduct RFQs for NPI (New Product Introduction) projects. Negotiate master purchasing contracts, Quality Assurance agreements, Non-disclosure agreements, consignment contracts, etc., with suppliers. Drive cost reduction initiatives through comprehensive cost analysis, market data evaluation, and negotiation. Collaborate with engineering teams to lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) projects. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to achieve project KPIs including savings, lead time reduction, minimum order quantity optimization, dual sourcing, and localization. Identify risks, opportunities, and underperforming suppliers; implement corrective actions to mitigate risks and ensure continuous improvement. Collaborate with plant teams as necessary. Strengthening Supplier Management / Long-Term Partnerships/ supplier strategy Supporting Successful NPI Project Execution. Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field Fluent in spoken and written English 5+ years of sourcing experience in the machining field, familiar with tooling, stamping, molding, plating, diecasting & machining 5 years’ Experience working in a global/region commodity role in a multinational company. Engineering background is advantageous. Proficiency in office software; Familiarity with SAP Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule. Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Strategic Sourcing Teams develop and implement multi-year strategies for assigned commodities, suppliers and parts/services to achieve established goals in supplier quality, delivery, price and service. They align strategy and execution with cross-functional partners such as engineering, manufacturing, product management and functional owners. They execute the competitive bid, negotiation, contracting processes and/or technical continuous improvement for assigned commodities or services; collaborate across Business Units and cross-regions for optimal TE leverage. Our teams demonstrate a high level of expertise in procurement competencies (business/supply chain acumen, negotiation, sourcing strategy development and execution, global savvy, and project and product lifecycle management) and ensure results are delivered compliant with TE policies and procedures.
