Job Responsibilities- Responsible for analysing input requests, identify right suppliers from the approved supplier panel.
- Responsible for preparing RFQ’s, quote analysis, negotiations, obtaining Sourcing Committee approvals and awarding new business to supplier to develop finished products, components and tooling.
- Define PBL supplier sourcing strategy based on business needs, that defines strategic suppliers into grow, fix and exit suppliers and maintains product footprint, incl. “make or buy”-analysis. Introduce new suppliers in SEA, India Mexico, North America.
- Accountable for info record and PO accuracy, transfer relevant data to SCM, (Incoterm, lead time, price, MOQ etc)
- Drive attainment and improvement of relevant procurement KPI’s, incl. Material Productivity (CMP), Lead time performance, delivery (STR/STC), and Quality (DLPM).
- Responsible for improving material productivity by maintaining 125% material pipeline, CMP, TEBIT and WAV analysis and Drive VA/VE projects in collaboration with Engineering
- Responsible for supplier price management, including PIA
- Responsible for maintaining the capabilities and capacities of suppliers to avoid any constraints
- Ensure and Drive MOQ optimization for material/components (incl. finished goods) used by the plant for production and establish supplier agreements, e. g. VMI, EDI, consignment, Scheduling Agreements frame order review, blanket PO)
- Lead the consolidation of Supplier Footprint, incl. setup of new suppliers, reducing number of suppliers
- Ensure that suppliers meet TE compliance requirements (RoHs, Reach, conflict minerals, supplier portals)
- Responsible for contracting of supplier commercial agreements, incl. bailment, inventory management and supply agreements.
- Responsible for conducting QBR’s with strategic suppliers and the drive of respective corrective actions
- Regularly carry out Suppliers risk assessments per business needs
- Ensure data on OV tools is captured and delivered to finance.
- Work with team on ISO Related documents, process and compliance check on regular frequency
- Support the tactical buyer in the following tasks: inventory management components, manage outside product, and block invoices
- Bachelor’s Degree or above, Engineering background - Mechanical Engineering Preferred
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing area
- Experience in Electronics, Stamping, Machining, Molding, especially from connector, connector assembly or cable assembly industry is preferred

The NPD (New Product Development) Strategic Sourcing Analyst will focus on the following initiatives:
- Focal point of all supply chain initiatives associated with NPD for assigned product lines.
- Develop & implement all integrated supply chain activities for New Product Introduction.
- Fully understand new project background information, including project footprint plan, project commercial information in terms of sample/ramp up/MP schedule and cost target, BOM components technical requirement and etc.
- Develop strategic vision for supply base at conception phase of new products.
- Improve time to market including quotation and sampling activities, driving material standardization,
- Arrange RFQ, analyze and organize SSR meeting to award business based on cost, lead time, core competency, and location.
- Ensure vendor quoted costs meet BOM cost Landing Zone targets. Work with commodity management team and should cost team to achieve the target.
- Design first-time-right supply chains for new products / platforms during development phase
- Promote Dual Source and Localization in new project phase.
- Work with commodity management to leverage supplier capabilities and improve collaboration among TE and supply base
- Improve overall service from Procurement to Internal customer e.g. project managers and project core team members.
- Provide strong support for TE manufacturing plant(s) for NPI.
- Holds Voice of Customer Sessions with internal customers and utilizes feedback to improve team performance and supply base service.
- Complete special projects as directed by regional or global management.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience in NPD Sourcing or project management role.
- Proven Experience in New Product Introduction as a sourcing analyst in a global company is preferred
- Experience in sourcing mechanical components such as stamping, molding, diecasting, machining, and electronics components such as PCB, PCBA, cable. Technical understanding of these commodities is required.
- Education: Bachelor level degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sourcing/ Procurement or related field. Advanced degree a plus.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal English.
- Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, able to work well with international teams and individuals.
- Strong analytical skills, comprehensive and logic thinking.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS office suite; advanced Excel, Power point.
- Lean PD experience is a plus.
- Previous SAP experience or training a plus.

Position Title: Sourcing Analyst
PRIMARY DUTIES
- 0%-50% Sourcing
- 20%-50% Sourcing Support
- 20%-50% Transactional – System Work
Transactional : Perform administration related duties on Procurement tools, including updating pricing, invoice resolution, and system support.
Sourcing Support : Perform data gathering and analysis related to Procurement policies, processes and tools. Prepare metrics and analysis for the Sourcing function dashboard. Lead projects related to the implementation and management of Procurement policies, processes, and tools. Develop and deliver training on Procurement policies, processes, and tools.
Sourcing : Identify, evaluate, and onboard packaging suppliers. Conduct RFQs, RFPs, and negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms. Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and sustainability goals. Analyze packaging costs, market trends, and total cost of ownership (TCO). Develop cost-saving initiatives and alternative material strategies. Track and report savings against procurement targets.
Additionally : Comply with Sourcing’s best practices, policies, and procedures. Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner. Manage minimum and maximum order quantities and total volumes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; knowledge of packaging materials is a plus.
- Skills:
o Problem solving capabilities, strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and proficiency in written and verbal English.
o Intermediate business understanding and collaborative/team skills.
o Comfortable working with databases, ERP systems, and spreadsheets.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the following competencies:
o Self-motivated with a strong desire and innate capability to learn.
