Requirement:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in designing and implementing automation systems in logistics or warehousing.
  • Expertise in warehouse automation solutions, robotics, logistics processes and system integration (e.g., WMS, ERP).
  • Experience with CAD software and / or simulation tools.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., MS Assess, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and local language.
  • Effective communication and customer focused.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

What a “Solution Engineer” means to us

Atlas Consolidated Pte Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Solution Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you will act as a critical link between our Clients and Atlas providing technical expertise and tailored solutions to meet client needs. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge and understanding of Atlas products to articulate complex solutions, conduct compelling demonstrations, and serve as a trusted technical advisor for our clients.

  • Architect, design and develop tailored technical solutions that address specific client needs, leveraging the full capabilities of our platform and products.
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear, detailed technical specifications and proposed architectures.
  • Develop and configure customized demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and pilots to showcase the value and functionality of our offerings.
  • Coordinate with engineering to address custom integration needs and feature gaps
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution diagrams, and configuration guides
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering teams to convey client feedback, influence product roadmap development, and ensure proposed solutions are feasible and scalable.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to clients post-implementation, ensuring successful adoption and optimization of solutions.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with Support/Engineering teams to resolve client problems effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key client technical stakeholders to identify future opportunities and ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with product capabilities, competitor offerings, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent related technical field.
  • 2-7 years of experience in a solutions engineering or a software developer role or a related field, preferably in a customer-facing technical role.
  • Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts, system architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Strong knowledge and hands of experience with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).
  • Strong understanding of system design concepts and data structures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with an ability of designing creative and effective technical solutions for complex business challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

The VSE team partners closely with Sales and customers to capture requirements and articulate how BMC’s unique and differentiated capabilities can best serve customer needs.This is a highly visible team working with our most successful sales teams to support the most prestigious companies around the world.

As a Solution Engineer, you will be working directly with Sales and Presales organizations in a techno-commercial role to create strategies, timelines and deliverables that align customers initiatives to the BMC Control M Product line. Those solutions help the world's largest companies to automate time-sensitive, business-critical workflows and data pipelines.

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Through a consultative approach, partner with sales teams to interpret often complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions delivering both business and technical value.
  • Simplify the communication of both technical and business content to a varied audience (technical and non-technical customers).
  • For a maximum impact on sales engagements, actively partner with the customer to document their current state, including applicable metrics to assist in defining the correct solution and support in business case creation and build deliverables for use by Sales and other Solution Engineers during the sales cycle.
  • Culminating from what is uncovered of the customers business and their goals, deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts.
  • Enable prospects and customers to understand how BMC can meet their requirements and becoming their trusted advisor on how to resolve their business pains using BMC solutions.
  • As every BMC employee, you will be given the opportunity to learn, be included in global projects, challenge yourself and be the innovator when it comes to solving everyday problems.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a presales capacity, or relatable technical-commercial role
  • Proven ability to develop a broad awareness of the client's technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible
  • Subject matter expertise on the technology and business use of one or more Workload Automation/Orchestration solutions
  • Strong fundamentals in public cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure

  • Language Requirement: English fluency. Cantonese would be a nice to have.

To liaise with factory/vendor on ordering & delivery of solution product

To coordinate the installation, commissioning, software upgrade, technical support and after sales support of solution/ value added product

What we're looking for

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronic Engineering

Possess excellent analytical, communication, negotiations, strong planning and presentation skills

Good command of written and verbal in Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Experience in HVAC industry will be added advantage

Job Purpose

Under general supervision with few direct instructions, works independently within existing applications to apply systems analysis and design techniques to analyze and evaluate business requirements/problems and implement minor enhancements. Supports systems, applications, & processes to process data and resolve problems for small projects or phase(s) of large project(s), performing routine and semi-routine tasks. A glimpse of your daily mission

  • Understands and leverages standard Haworth application lifecycles and solution delivery methodologies to design, develop, test, implement, and support high-performing, high-quality, software solutions in support of business needs. Provides continuous improvement input as needed.

  • Records, tracks, and documents resolution of user problems/requests by means of incident/ticket management software; communicates with users to provide issue resolution updates.

  • Leverages Haworth prioritization process to ensure right work item is being worked on at right time for Haworth.

  • Provides initial and ongoing Estimates To Completion (ETCs) for individual assignments to support appropriate test and launch planning.

  • Participates in work execution patterns to support consistent delivery or support activities (i.e., Agile, Waterfall, and/or Agile).

  • Provides timely and clear status/progress updates on assigned tasks to provide customers and management with appropriate visibility. Communicates risk of missing target dates as early as possible.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 5 to 8 years related design, development, and support experience.

  • Understands major phases of Delivery lifecycle (Requirements Gathering & Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Launch, and Post-Launch support) to ensure consistent, effective, and efficient delivery process.

  • Understands and applies current development standards, techniques, and best practices within Haworth's defined Technical Stack to maintain and enhance existing applications and systems.

Role Description

The Network Solution Engineer plays a critical role in the delivery and execution of network solutions across Data Centre, branch sites, and cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy network solutions across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments in line with design documentation and business requirements.
  • Configure and deploy Cisco-based routing, switching, LAN/WAN, WLAN, WLC, SD-WAN, and firewall solutions.
  • Apply changes and rule sets on firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) as per security and segmentation requirements.
  • Configure and integrate cloud-native network components in Azure and AWS (VNETs, VPCs, Transit Gateways, NSGs, Route Tables, etc.).
  • Work with and configure cloud interconnect services such as Megaport and Equinix Fabric.
  • Support security integration via Zscaler, Symantec Cloud Proxy, and site-to-site VPNs.
  • Participate in the change management process raise changes in ServiceNow, attend CAB, and implement after-hours changes when required.
  • Document configurations, runbooks, and test outcomes for operational handover.
  • Collaborate with architects, PMs, and site support teams to execute detailed network solution plans.
  • Validate and troubleshoot network performance during and after deployments.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years in network solution or delivery roles, with both on-prem and cloud experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Cisco enterprise networking (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience configuring: - Cisco switching, routing, SD-WAN - Cisco WLC and Wireless infrastructure - Checkpoint Firewall or similar NGFW platforms
  • Experience with: - Azure and AWS networking components (e.g., VNETs, VNets, NSGs, TGWs, VGWs) - Megaport, Direct Connect, or ExpressRoute connectivity - Symantec Cloud Proxy and Zscaler integration
  • Comfortable raising and implementing network changes via ServiceNow or equivalent.
  • Experience preparing and updating solution documentation (HLDs, LLDs, as-builts, runbooks).
  • Clear communication skills to work with project teams, technical leads, and site engineers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, or equivalent.
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP) – required.
  • Azure or AWS networking certification – desirable.
