Requirements: B.S degree in Computer Science or relevant field of study. 1-5 years of experience in similar fields Possess good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, resourceful and proactive when issues arise. Comfortable in Java programming and using Java technology for web-based applications, preferably in Apache Maven, Spring, and Hibernate. Excellent database and SQL skills, especially MySQL. Troubleshooting mindset - mitigation and resolution of issues. Good communication skill in English in both written and spoken. Other Highly Desirable Skills: Experience with Joget DX or similar products. Experience in working in an agile development environment. Experience working with remote teams. Experience with subversion or git, continuous integration, and deployment tools. Experience with unit testing. Experience with secure coding practices. As a Solution Architect (SA) your primary responsibility will be to transfer business requirements & specifications towards the development of the solutions within the Scrum teams. • Take the existing requirements from business and transfer these into workable epics, use cases, tasks towards the software development team

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Solution Consultant to join our team to lead the architectural design for our middleware and surrounding systems for core card management. You will be working with a collaborative team of approximately 10 professionals, designing innovative cloud-based solutions that drive our payment processing capabilities forward.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions across various domains within the company and provide solutions to meet business requirements.
• Lead the entire project lifecycle including development planning, estimating, system analysis, design, development, implementation, and documentation for customer projects or product development.
• Become an expert in the specific business domain.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and provide sound technical recommendations to the business.
• Contribute to design and development of software solutions by understanding business challenges, assisting in designing frameworks, developing prototypes, and creating robust, high-volume production applications.
• Develop, test, and optimize solutions and backend code for web-based applications.
• Perform integration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of developed solutions as necessary.
• Document work in an organized manner and collaborate with domain experts and others based on project scope.
• Lead technical training for both internal and external stakeholders on best practices and new solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Pre-Sales/Sales teams to resolve client issues, prioritize, and build market or vertical plans for technical services.
• Assist in defining the roadmap, goals, and vision for the product as well as defining product technical architecture.
• Able to lead a team of junior developers, perform task assignment and code review.
• Resolve customer tickets. Diagnoses and provides resolution or recommend corrective actions.
• Provide leadership and training to less experienced personnel.
• Manage individual and team priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Provide data migration/SIT/UAT/PROD support.

Who Are We Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering or IT related subject.
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in Java application development with proven results.

• Strong knowledge in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• Working experience in Java technologies, Spring frameworks, API, RESTful, Junit.

• Database experience with SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar database technologies.
• Experience with Linux environment including Shell scripting and software packaging.
• Experience in unit testing and integration testing.
• Experience in crafting effective prompts for AI applications, ensuring optimal output and performance will be a big plus point.
• Good understanding of Cloud, Container and Virtualization technologies.
• Good knowledge of agile software development methodologies and industry best practices.
• Genuine interest in technology, software development as well as high levels of self-motivation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure.

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks. Your Experience
+ 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering
+ Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures
+ Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
+ Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role; prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal
+ Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements
+ Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies
+ Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions
+ Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions are preferred
+ This is a field sales position where travel requirements may be required to support in person customer meetings, please discuss with the recruiter on the specifics for this position.
