Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation of design, calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents involved in the full cycle of Solar PV system design for system size MORE THAN 72kW using Autocad, PVSyst, and Helioscope software for Industrial, Commercial and Residential sector (Costing budget, BOQ, Material Spec, SOW method statement, etc)
Conduct Site Survey to provide a cost-effective solar system for customers and as well adhere to the standards.
Design Solar PV system including Electrical Circuit Diagram (Power & Control Circuit), Electrical Switchboard & Control Panel, and Electrical Cable routing plan.
Assist in liaison and coordination with Local Authority Departments to obtain approval on design projects. (ST, SEDA & TNB, etc) and work closely with Sales, Project & Licensing Team to ensure the project is completed on time for optimum performance.
Monitoring build progress, preparing sites before construction work begins & supervising contractor teams.
Communicate with clients on requirements and specification for request for proposals (RFP)
Conduct status review meetings among project team members, subcontractors and clients.
Ensure technical proposals comply with local rules and regulations.
Key Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent
Preferably Professional certification in Board of Engineering Malaysia (BEM) or its equivalent
Preferably SEDA Malaysia GCPV Design Certificate Holder.
Minimum 5 years of proven working experience as an Electrical Project Engineer or similar role, experienced in Solar Energy Industry will be added advantage
Experience in other Solar Design software (PV system/Helioscope) will be an added advantage
