Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for this role are to design and develop test and measurement solutions of the Oscilloscope, Bit Error Rate Tester, Arbitrary Waveform Generators and other test instruments.

Works with the latest highest performance High Speed Digital technologies such as IEEE, PCIExpress and USB. Participate in research and design for the new product and improvement of existing product. Works with Product planners, technical support as well as customers to define the products features. Develops test method and algorithm to perform the High-Speed Digital conformance test. Uses in-depth technical or scientific knowledge and product expertise to innovate and develop test methodology and algorithm Solves straight-forward issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization. Works with the Marketing, Software QA, Learning Product and Technical support team through the entire product life cycle from customer requirement to product shipment.

Qualifications

Bachelors or Master or University Degree in Electrical and Electronics or equivalent. Knowledge and hands-on experience in Testing Instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators and Data Acquisition. Knowledge in Measurement Science is a plus. Experience on tools like git, Jira and lean/agile development processes is a plus. Strong skills to work with customers, partners and internal stakeholders Typically, 2-4 years relevant experience for entry to this level.

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality. Perform manual and automated testing (functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing). Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met. Conduct API testing (using tools like Postman, SoapUI). Automate test cases using Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar frameworks. Ensure compliance with industry best practices and QA methodologies (Agile, Scrum, DevOps). Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups. Continuously improve QA processes by implementing new tools and techniques. Provide feedback and recommendations for software improvements. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in software quality assurance and testing. Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks. About the project We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer. You will be responsible for design, development & execution of all areas of Quality Assurance in the assigned scrum team, including but not limited to test case definition, test design, test implementation, test automation and execution, as well as govern the QA process to ensure quality in deliverables. Our QA Engineers are integral to ensuring the quality and reliability of software products and services for Subscription Selling Business and Cloud Core Development Platform. You will work across the development lifecycle, implementing strategies to test, validate, and optimize software solutions. QA Engineers also drive continuous improvement, employing technical expertise and collaboration skills to deliver exceptional results.

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, your role will require you to:

Being part of one of our product or scrum teams and actively participating to the delivery of top-notch quality software

Ensuring that every change is thoroughly tested before being released to our production systems

Leverage automation tools (primarily with Tricentis Tosca), extensive knowledge bases and documentation

Drive and execute test planning, design, automation, execution and releases of API microservices offerings

Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD workflows for test execution quality gate

Report defect and risk analysis with actionable recommendation

Mentor developers in their day-to-day tasks and build their professional development

Working together as a team, you will ensure the delivery of sustainable solutions that support the organization’s long-term goals while delivery maximum incremental short-term gains

Leverage AI in the day to day work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other technical related field, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years in automation testing with a focus on web UI and backend APIs

A good understanding of the fundamentals of Software Testing methodologies and Test Automation frameworks, especially Tricentis Tosca is an advantage.

Practical experience in Agile Software Development methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe Agile is an advantage.

Technical Skills:

Frontend Testing: Proficiency in Java, Selenium WebDriver.

Backend Testing: Experience with API testing tools like Postman, Insomnia, RestAssured.

Frameworks: Knowledge of TestNG, Junit & BDD frameworks like Cucumber.

Build Tools: Familiarity with Maven or Gradle.

CI/CD: Experience with Gitlab, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.

Version Control: Proficiency with Git.

Hands on experience with AI for QA and software testing is very important

Experience with integration of some of the AI use cases or at least adopt leverage. Consultant needs to know and demonstrate how to leverage AI in the day-to-day work.

Passionate about learning new things – regardless of any challenges.

Have strong structural, analytical, and critical thinking.

Excellent interpersonal skills and well-balanced, adaptive communication style; ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
