We are seeking for a Test Analyst who specializes in provisioning software quality assurance services in the BFSI (banking, finance, securities and insurance) domain to join our team. The role requires a strong foundation in the software testing practice, particularly in functional testing .
Key Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for participating in the various software functional testing project phases, including Function Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and subsequent Regression Test, from the initial stage of requirements gathering and clarifications, test design and test data development, test environment readiness review and preparation, test planning and scheduling, to execution, defects logging, triage participation, and status update. In doing so, ensures accuracy in test execution and observations writing, and adequacy in test design coverage.

- Work alongside test team members to produce test design and associated test traceability matrix in alignment to the requirements baseline, and subsequently, to prepare and execute test, record and report observations, participate in triage, and follow-up on defects till closure, for throughout the test project duration.
- Assist test team leader on effort estimation required for testing related activities in addition to assigned scope, by providing relevant and accurate input.
- Participate in the on-going effort of implementing best practices and innovation initiatives for the Testing Centre-of-Excellence (TCoE ).
Experience, Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least five years of work experience in providing software quality assurance in the BFSI industry, holding respective roles in execution, design, and minimally three years in test design work .
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree with major in the Computer Science or equivalent field, and preferably certified in Software Testing (e.g. CSTE, CSQA, ISTQB CTFL, etc.) and familiar with software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Waterfall, Agile, and DevOps.
- Receptive and keenness in learning, meticulous , analytical and competent in problem-solving, with good interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
