Responsibilities:

Gather requirements from stakeholders to identify integration needs for Autocount with third-party systems.

Develop and maintain integration solutions between Autocount and third-party systems, such as warehouse management systems, CRM systems, and other software using C#.

Design integration workflows and data mappings, and create technical specifications.

Collaborate with third-party API support teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the integration.

Develop and maintain custom scripts, plugins, or other integration tools as needed using C#.

Perform testing and validation of the integration solutions to ensure data accuracy and system stability.

Provide technical support to end-users as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience developing software integrations using C#, API, REST, XML, and other integration technologies.

Strong understanding of software development best practices, including software design, coding, testing, and documentation.

Familiarity with Autocount desktop application and various third-party systems, such as warehouse management systems, CRM systems, and other software, is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Summary Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, involving multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling.
• Take responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials etc.).
• Review and interpret customer requirements/specifications and may act as primary customer contact.
• Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions. Develop deployment strategies and plans.
• Lead the deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
• May manage relationships with key vendors/partners.
• Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites.
• Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
• Test software development methodology (may be done in agile environment).
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with customers, users, project managers and other engineers including Peer-Reviews to achieve elegant solutions.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations.
• Set yearly plans and goals for the department, give direction on expected performance, provide regular performance evaluations and ongoing feedback. Accountable for all department objectives and achieving agreed targets for key performance indicators.

Project Management

Ability to manage/lead complex, multiple line engineering projects that may also involve other functions. Demonstrate solid understanding of the technical, financial and people aspects of the project. Able to create a project/change management plan and ensure that the project is delivered within the assigned time and budget. Ability to recognize project barriers and develop mitigation plans.

Financial Acumen / Business Planning

Ability to create financial plans for your projects, align them internally with your line of management and other functions and externally if needed. Create project plans, profitability calculations, risk and sensitivity analysis, able to recognize barriers and mitigate profitability risks. Fully knowledgeable about internal and external financial reporting, accounting and tax requirements relevant to your area of expertise.

You are responsible and accountable for the delivery/ implementation of back office application solutions (Group400), within AIA in which requires you to implement (design/code) solutions to meet business objectives/requirements. Software Design and Engineering (80%)

• Responsible for application development (design/coding) activities and deliveries for Group Policy Admin system (G400).
• Accountable and responsible for one or more application solutions/systems with quality, architecture/risk/security compliance and continuous improvement.
• Responsible for governance and execution around software development, including version control, code review and structure, architecture, security, quality and performance.
• Managing vendor services and SLA for applications/systems under his/her purview.
• Manage application availability and reliability with timely resolution of issues and problems.

Resource & Team Management (10%)

• Optimize resource planning and utilization to deliver maximum output to support business demands

• Coach and mentor team to acquire the technical skills to execute their jobs.

• Ensure performance in alignment to division and company strategy

Delivery Management (5%)

• Responsible for planning, prioritizing, managing delivery of initiatives/projects assigned under his/her portfolio with all stakeholders.

• Strong presentation and process documentation using Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong technology and architecture background for middle and back office solutions (ie. BPM, Group 400, Life Asia, Polisy Asia, Enterprise Integration, Content Mgmt, Customer Comm Mgmt, etc.).
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with middle and senior management team, internal & external stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role The incumbent will support the Associate Director in the implementation and execution of initiatives in alignment with the TECH Division’s strategic objectives. They will be responsible for managing their designated solution area, including the roadmap for the associated technology platform or supported end-to-end solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: IT Application Management Lead the development, design, and implementation of new applications and enhancements to existing systems and software packages.

Ensure effective delivery of IT solutions with a focus on cost efficiency and quality, maximizing the return on IT investments.

Develop and execute action plans that support the TECH Division’s strategy through structured planning, established methodologies, and appropriate resource allocation.

Oversee and enforce adherence to the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software quality management standards.

Align system delivery with the Enterprise Architecture framework to ensure consistency and scalability.

Maintain high application availability and ensure timely resolution of system issues and incidents.

Design Own and manage a portfolio of solutions, ensuring scalable and performance-optimized architecture.

Translate business and functional requirements into effective system designs.

Lead the design and implementation of new applications and system enhancements.

Serve as the technical lead for medium to high-complexity projects and initiatives that support business growth.

Development Develop software code following best practices and coding standards.

Conduct unit and system integration testing (SIT) prior to user acceptance testing (UAT).

Provide support during UAT and resolve any issues that arise.

Deliver second-level production and incident support in collaboration with first-level support teams.

Project Scope Lead medium to high-complexity projects, accountable for end-to-end application delivery.

Collaborate closely with vendors and infrastructure teams to ensure successful project execution.

Resource & Team Management Optimize resource planning and utilization to meet business demands effectively.

Coach and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities.

Drive team performance in alignment with divisional and organizational strategies.

Job Requirements

General requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an accredited institution.

8–10 years of experience in IT application development, with at least 6–8 years in a supervisory role within the relevant domain.

Proven track record in executing IT projects and delivering system applications and technology implementations.

Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with middle management and internal/external stakeholders.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

In-depth understanding of insurance business operations, including distribution channels.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across functions.

Technical requirements: Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and technologies, including Java Content Repository (API), Sling, Apache Felix OSGi, DAM, and Workflows.

Experience integrating AEM with Adobe products such as Analytics, Target, and Campaign.

Proficient in AEM building blocks: templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and bundles.

Experience with AEM data migration and backend/frontend integration.

Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML/HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

Solid Java/J2EE background with working knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.

Proficient in relational databases (SQL Server, Sybase, Oracle) and T-SQL.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and architectural styles.

Experience with Unix and WebSphere Application Server environments.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following: Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, involving multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling. Take responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials etc.). Review and interpret customer requirements/specifications and may act as primary customer contact. Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions. Develop deployment strategies and plans. Lead the deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts. May manage relationships with key vendors/partners. Analyze, design and develop tests and test-automation suites. Design and develop a processing platform using various configuration management technologies.
