Lead architecture reviews and assessments to ensure viability within the technology environment per established standards, best-practice fit with existing technologies and overall strategy. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the related field, or a Master’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in the related field. Previous experience in a management role required. Preference for a Master’s degree or pursuit of one. Extensive experience in enterprise architecture with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful architectural strategies. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Deep knowledge of cloud computing, data architecture, application architecture, infrastructure architecture and process architecture. Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and IoT. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically and translate business strategy into technical solutions. Experience with creating and documenting architecture standards and technology roadmaps. Preferred: Experience with Google Cloud offerings (Workspace, BigQuery, and GCP). Job Description
We’re looking for a
Principal Enterprise Architect
to lead the design, alignment, and governance of complex IT systems across business domains. In this role, you’ll act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, ensuring that architecture decisions support both technical excellence and business outcomes.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring deep technical fluency, cross-functional awareness, and strong leadership across project, client, and organizational boundaries.
Strategic Architecture Leadership
Design and own end-to-end enterprise solutions across multiple platforms, domains, and business areas. Translate business goals into scalable, secure, and maintainable IT architectures. Drive architecture decisions aligned to roadmap, business strategy, and regulatory needs.
Design & Documentation
Lead architectural reviews, create system blueprints (C4, RAIDs, data flows), and guide solution realization. Translate logical designs into physical implementations considering performance, security, integration, and cost. Ensure alignment of frontend/backend systems, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and infrastructure (cloud/on-prem).
Governance & Best Practices
Define and enforce architecture standards, security guidelines, and development methodologies. Drive compliance with internal and external audit, risk, and regulatory requirements. Support architectural decision records (ADRs), build-vs-buy analysis, and service blueprinting.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a senior advisor to internal and client teams, balancing technical and business priorities. Influence decisions across delivery, infrastructure, security, and executive leadership. Facilitate workshops, build consensus, and advocate for architectural best practices.
Mentorship & Leadership
Coach junior architects and engineering teams on architecture fundamentals. Promote a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
10+ years in IT architecture roles, with 3+ years in enterprise or principal architect capacity. Strong experience across cloud (AWS, Azure), microservices, DevOps, API management, and enterprise integration (MQ, ESB, event streaming). Demonstrated knowledge in systems design, security architecture, data modeling, and application scalability. Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in architectural tools and modeling standards (C4, UML, BPMN, etc.). Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field/
Preferred:
Experience in regulated industries (e.g., banking, payments, insurance). Familiarity with Lean Value Trees, Agile roadmapping, or strategic portfolio planning. Strong negotiation and decision-making ability across technical and business domains.

Comfortable with HTML5 and grid-based CSS frameworks like Bootstrap
Excellent Java 8+ and Java Spring experience. Will focus on Spring Boot and Spring Data feature sets
Ability to write MySQL queries (MongoDB experience a plus)
Strong Python skills utilizing packages such as Pandas, PySpark and Numpy
Deep understanding and application of modern data processing technology stacks. For example, Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, and others
