Job Description
The Site Technician is responsible for the testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of Electrical Switchboard at various project sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical switchboards, busbar & components, and safety standards to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of electrical power distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities for Site Technician (Electrical):
- Perform On-Site Maintenance: Carry out routine and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, panels, switchboards, and equipment.
- Install Electrical Systems: Perform installation and wiring of electrical components, including switches, breakers, and all related components.
- Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Diagnose and resolve electrical faults, including equipment malfunctions and system failures.
- Conduct Routine Inspections: Perform inspections to identify potential issues in wiring, connections, or equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Test Electrical Systems: Use testing tools and equipment to verify system functionality, continuity, and adherence to design specifications.
- Support Equipment Commissioning: Assist in the commissioning of electrical equipment and systems on-site, ensuring they are operational and meet performance standards.
- Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow strict safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

- Collaborate with Team: Coordinate with project engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain Records: Document maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs performed on-site.
- Provide Client Support: Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on project progress.
- Stay Updated: Participate in training sessions to stay informed about new tools, equipment, and industry practices.
- Handle Emergency Repairs: Respond to electrical emergencies promptly to minimize downtime and ensure system safety.
Requirements:
- Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in electrical fields.
- Experience in LV and MV switchgear is an advantage.
- Familiarity with site work is an advantage.
- Able to read single & three-phase schematic diagrams is an advantage.
- Willingness to work outstation.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft software.

- Ensure the correct number of cubes to make for different batches of concrete supplied;
- Fill cube mould with concrete in three layers with proper compaction;
- Cast cube based on the standard method;
- Mark cube prepared with reference numbers and dates;
- Place demoulded cube in water tank for curing;
- Carry out slump test on each batch of concrete supplies;
- Carry out the compression test on the concrete cube at the specified date;
- Remove all the crushed cubes and aggregates from the laboratory after testing;
- Record and compile test results for submission;
- Carry out material testing;
- Inspect the quality of materials;
- Carry out safety and housekeeping compliance in the work area;
- Any other tasks assigned from time to time.

• Maintain temperature settings across outlets for customer comfort and food safety compliance.
• Carry out regular calibration, and performance testing of equipment.
• Maintain and repair equipment including blenders, ovens, chillers, under-counter chillers, freezer and ice machines.
• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting to outlet teams for urgent equipment issues.
