Identify, classify, record and keep log of all hazards identified.
Analyse all safety data that may identify existing hazards or may predict future hazards, to the organization.
Assist and support in identifying, reporting, recording, and investigating hazards from all sources.
Assist and support in safety investigation in accordance with safety investigation process and procedures, as well as clearly identifying root cause(s).
Carry out safety investigation as and when required.
Safety Risk Assessment
Carry out risk assessment for all hazards identified.
Hazards are analysed to determine corresponding safety risks to the operations.
Classify, record and keep log of all risk and risk assessments (risk registry).
Assist and support ALL risk assessments and formulation of mitigation actions for hazards, risk and root causes identified.
Safety Risk Mitigation
Safety risks are assessed to determine the requirement for risk mitigation action(s).
Monitor and ensure necessary mitigation actions are implemented as required.
Classify, record and keep log of all mitigation actions.
Monitor and review effectiveness of mitigation actions.
Safety / Operational Reporting
Encourage and facilitate personnel to submit reports that identify safety hazards. expose safety deficiencies and raise safety concerns.
Ensures mandatory reporting in accordance with applicable regulations.
Maintain confidentiality of all confidential reports received in accordance to company policy and applicable regulations.
Safety Performance Monitoring And Measurement
Develop, conduct and maintain continuous safety performance monitoring and internal audit plans to assess the effectiveness including potential improvement of the SMS.
Assist and support respective departments in developing Safety Performance Indicators and Targets (SPI/SPT).
Make available these data and/or information for management quarterly reviews.
The Management Of Change
Develop and define triggers for the formal management of change process.
Ensure the Management of Change (MOC) process are carried out for changes which have impact to safety of the operations as per the stated in the SMS manual.
Record, process and maintain records of all MOCs conducted, mitigation actions or recommendations in the Safety Library, in accordance to company and regulatory records keeping requirements.
Present all MOCs for management quarterly reviews.
Continuous Improvement Of SMS
Assist, support and ensure continuous monitoring of the SPI/T in order to continuously improve safety performance.
Continuously monitor the organization’s SMS, its related safety risk controls and support systems to evaluate if the safety management processes are achieving their desired safety performance objectives.
Present all evaluations for management review.
Safety Library
Ensure, assist, support and oversight on ALL safety related policies, planning, processes, procedures, programs and records are updated and documented in relevant manuals and the central Safety Library (management system) as applicable, in accordance with organization documentation and records control requirements.
Minimum working experience:
- 2 years as analyst, safety, security, audit or risk management with any AirAsia or AirAsia X Group of airlines (management experience will be added advantage).
- Minimum 6 months as SAG with any AirAsia or AirAsia X Group of airlines.
- OR
- Experience in aviation safety and/or in the capacity of an aviation safety investigator, safety/quality manager or safety risk manager; and.
- 5 years working in commercial or manufacturing aviation industry, and.
- 2 years in aviation management position, and/or.
- 2 years in aviation safety or quality position.
Education:
- Diploma in any aviation related fields or occupational, safety and health.
- Professional qualifications:
- The following trainings by regulator or authorities or recognized training provider (example, IATA, CAA, etc.):
- Full Safety Management System (SMS).
- Risk Management.

The Quality Control Supervisor will stay abreast of new, changed, and emerging standards related to Quality Control and advise appropriate managers and departments of changes that could affect Masimo activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervises the daily activities of the Quality Control/Assurance Technicians and Inspectors;
- Ensures training and up-to-date training records for the Quality Control/Assurance Technicians and Inspectors;
- Coordinates Incoming, In-Process, and/or Finished Goods Acceptance Testing for parts/products;
- Reviews, accepts, and maintains documentation of Acceptance Testing;
- Performs modifications of Acceptance Procedures, as required;
- Ensures timely inspection of acceptance activities, including prioritization;
- Organization and management of the Quality Control Records;
- Ensures Quality Control/Assurance personnel are trained to the latest procedures;
- Ensures that adequate inspection equipment is available, maintained, and calibrated;
- Prepares and reports QC metrics at QMS reviews;

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five or more years of experience with quality control inspection and testing of electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products;
- Knowledge and experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) in a regulated industry;
- Good communication skills, verbal and written;
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed, up to 10% of the time;
- Good interpersonal skills dealing with peers and other functional areas;
- Computer Skills in Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Medical Device manufacturing environment;
- Experience with Agile PLM is preferred;
- Familiar with Part 820 Quality Systems Regulation;

Education:
