In this position, you will serve as the point of contact for Customer, contractors and be expected to liaise between Team members and management. How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will be fully responsible and monitor all site activity, plans project on-site activities with Project Manager including management of the site personnel and the delivery of the contractual requirements, coordinate and drive the performance of the Site Works / operations in accordance with the Contract; ensure the fulfilment of the contractual deliverables within the defined schedule, cost effective, with the utmost importance to Quality, Health and Safety as per Hitachi energy standards.
  • You will serve as the main interface to the customer site representatives and local authorities, assist in technical discussions with customers.
  • You will be responsible for the proper implementation and compliance with the site-specific Health, Safety and Environmental Plan.
  • You will ensure detailed construction Health & Safety (H&S) plan is in place, compliant with the Hitachi Energy standards, ensure all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project, if a situation arise, take the necessary steps to ensure that Hitachi employees and other persons are safe.
  • You will manage the site budget and site costs, prepare accurate cost forecasting, communicate deviations, define mitigation actions to stay within budget and manage and follow subcontract works, claims, payment certificates and the overall performance of our subcontractors.
  • You will ensure the collection and implementation of Lessons Learnt from previous projects and the preparation and distribution of Lessons Learnt from their site to the rest of the organization, ensure all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling system is maintained, and the latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.

Your background:

  • Coordinate release at the site for new and updated programs.
  • Coordinate the design of experiments to improve yield and reduce cycle time.
  • Coordinate program releases on new tester hardware.
  • Monitor yields and coordinate low yield activities.
Lab Management and Support
  • Coordinate modules build activities for engineering qualifications.
  • Manage the module test process and communicate results clearly and concisely.
  • Coordinate and implement module lab processes to verify design ID quality.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, including new device setup, recipe creation, and qualifications.
  • Evaluate and qualify new equipment and materials (direct and indirect), including builds at subcontractors.
  • Assist technicians in training and maintaining lab operational procedures, processes, and specifications.
  • Gather documentation and work with third parties and cross-functional teams to enable new devices.
  • Supervise lab activities, including material ordering and forecasting for module builds, module prototype builds, and test result reporting.
  • Provide area guidance on test processes, equipment, and preventive maintenance.
  • Order motherboards and test equipment to support lab operation, as defined by applications engineering.
  • Support program development, track and document test results, and manage qualification scheduling.
  • Collaborate with equipment engineers to implement changes that improve efficiency and equipment operations.
  • Guide engineers and technicians and complete performance management activities.
  • Participate actively in engineering, planning, and QA meetings.
  • Travel to global sites and subcontractors to provide training and support testing solutions.
  • Collaborate with other groups to achieve strategic business plans, goals, and budgets.
  • Ensure high level of communication to area techs and engineers of area needs and priorities.
  • Ensure clear communication of area needs and priorities to technicians and engineers.
  • Provide engineering feedback on qualifications, HVM program release decisions, and acceptable product grades (e.g., TP, PR, PG).
Qualifications
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Possesses 1–3 years of leadership experience in electrical engineering, data analysis, or semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and applications.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, and/or Perl.
  • Knowledgeable in relational database systems including MSSQL and MySQL.
  • Solid understanding of electronic and electrical circuit concepts, including digital systems and logic, transistor functionality, and analog circuit design.
  • Experienced in using oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  • Familiar with fundamental algorithms and programming data structures.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks, organizing workload, and meeting strict deadlines under pressure without compromising quality.
  • Strong skills in listening, motivation, interpersonal communication, and time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to deliver precise work and suggest corrective actions for identified issues or risks.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite.
