Senior Project Manager/Project Manager (Construction/Site) - High Rise

We're looking for an experienced site leader to take charge of high-rise building projects from ground-breaking to handover. You’ll manage construction progress, budgets, manpower, and contractors while ensuring safety, quality, and delivery are never compromised. This is a hands-on leadership role with full accountability for project outcomes. Ideal for someone who thrives on structure, coordination, and speed.

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery: scheduling, construction, quality control, and safety
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams from pre-construction planning to DLP
• Drive progress on-site, plan activities, manage manpower and materials efficiently
• Monitor project milestones, cost, claims, variation orders, and billing
• Conduct site reviews, ensure all documentation, authority submissions, and permits are in order
• Lead regular site meetings, resolve technical and operational issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, QLASSIC, etc.)
• Review risk assessments, coordinate accident investigations, and implement corrective actions
• Provide project updates and reports to senior management or stakeholders

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 15+ years of experience in construction, with strong exposure to high-rise or large-scale developments
• In-depth knowledge of contracts, construction methods, procurement, and authority requirements
• Proven leadership in managing site teams, consultants, and contractors
• Strong coordination, reporting, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in site scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking tools
• Able to work full-time in Klang Valley

Overview

Site/Section/Senior Engineers – Civil Rail – London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire

Salary: £28,000 - £55,000 + pkg

Location: London, Berkshire or Oxfordshire

Regions: London, South East, South West

• Responsible for ensuring the section of works are delivered safely; to specification, budget and programme
• Provide innovative engineering solutions to a challenging project
• Develop construction methodologies / plans / programmes
• Management of site activities
• Progress reporting
• Cost forecasting for the section of works
• Material procurement approvals
• Provide technical engineering support as a key member of the team
• Leadership / support / guidance and management to section engineers and site engineers
• Preparation of methods and procedures supported by diagrams and sketches for Work Package Plans
• There are over 8 positions for Section, Senior and Site Engineers based in Slough, Reading, Oxford or Central London

• Main/Sub contractor experience within infrastructure civil projects
• Minimum HNC qualified, preferably degree qualified (preferably in Civil Engineering)
• Will look for a candidate from a tools background as well as engineering
• Must have valid and relevant CSCS
• Ability to support, manage and motivate staff. Full control of all gangs
• Support the training and development of the Site Engineering team

• To ensure the SAQ documentation in place and to update SA tracker.
• To Upload SAQ documentation into SharePoint following the file SAQ naming convention.
• To assist on payment raising & to prepare the documentation required by the stakeholder and update/follow up payment status - deposit, rental, LC submission.
• To assist on stamping process.
• To track and maintain the upkeep of SAQ (TA, SA, payment, access) database.
• To ensure & to comply all documentation required for LC Submission.
• To support and manage site access request.
• To assist and perform tasks assigned by the SAQ.

Requirements

• Possess at least bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification with a strong Project management & administrative background.
• Possess good communication and written skills.
• Organized, meticulous and able to multitask.
• Good in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in organizing engagement activities.

We are looking for a Construction Engineer (Civil) to oversee all civil engineering and site construction activities for the solar project. The key focus is on coordinating with EPC contractors and subcontractors to ensure that all civil works—including earthworks, foundations, drainage systems, substation buildings, and access roads—are executed in compliance with design specifications, schedule, safety standards, and quality requirements.

This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can solve problems independently and thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.

• On-Site Supervision: Supervise and inspect all civil construction activities, including site clearing, piling, foundation works, and drainage installation.
• Quality Assurance: Review civil drawings, method statements, and shop drawings for constructability and compliance. Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met.
• Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with EPC contractors and subcontractors to coordinate daily work plans, track progress, and resolve any on-site issues related to access, soil conditions, or logistics.
• Documentation & Reporting: Produce detailed daily site reports, including photo documentation and material tracking logs. You will also provide input for monthly progress reports and identify any discrepancies between design documents and on-site conditions.
• Safety Leadership: Actively promote and ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) policies, verifying that all contractors implement and follow safety protocols.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction engineering
• At least 6 years of experience in civil construction, specifically for infrastructure or utility-scale energy projects
• Experience in earthworks and foundation inspection
• Proficiency in reviewing technical and construction drawings
• Basic knowledge/skills in quantity take-off and material estimation
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently
