We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to drive strategic planning, business growth, and process optimization across multi-warehouse, multi-country operations. The role involves high-value client acquisition, cross-department collaboration, senior-level decision-making, and risk management. Requires over 8 years in administration or logistics, fluency in Mandarin, English, and Malay, and proven success managing 100,000+ sqm warehouse space with direct resources from top-tier Chinese e-commerce platforms.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead overall strategic planning and business development for warehouse operations, and assist the marketing and sales teams in designing customized solutions and recruiting new clients.
- Oversee and optimize end-to-end warehouse processes, ensuring that the team operates in strict compliance with established workflows.
- Take charge of new client acquisition, with a focus on developing high-value clientele.
- Integrate cross-departmental resources, such as coordinating with the IT department to upgrade system architecture, and collaborating with the sales team to formulate service pricing strategies.
- Participate in senior-level decision-making and risk management: conduct research and review million-level capital expenditures (e.g., procurement costs for automated sorting lines), coordinate across departments to address major compliance risks (e.g., customs audits, labor class actions), and make staffing decisions for internal teams and foreign worker teams based on real-time business needs.
- Analyze policy trends and proactively adjust key business strategies in advance.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or above (Majors in Administration, Business English, or Logistics are preferred).
- Language & Management Skills: Proficient in Mandarin , English, and Malay, with multi-warehouse/multi-country matrix management experience, and proven track record in managing warehouse space exceeding 100,000 sqm.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in administration or logistics, with direct client resources from top-tier Chinese e-commerce platforms.
- Expertise: Skilled in supply chain financial tools and real-time consulting.
Notice:
- This role follows a 4-day work week on a rotating shift basis, with working hours from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. , including a one-hour break.
- Successful candidates will undergo a three-day trial . Upon passing, employment must commence within one month under a one-year renewable agreement.

- Proven experience in customer relationship management and contract administration and execution.
- Familiarity with the logistics sector in Malaysia especially in Port Klang & Shah Alam, including local regulations and market dynamics.
- Preferred with Port Klang FTZ Warehouse operation and PKFZ Custom processes

Overview of the Role
Reporting directly to the Country General Manager, the Head of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of logistics and supply chain operations—including transportation, warehousing, freight, distribution centers, and field services. This position plays a key role in managing relationships with key clients and third-party logistics (3PL) providers while ensuring service excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Oversight
- Lead daily operational functions across transportation, warehousing, and field service.
- Supervise distribution center performance, including those in East Malaysia.
- Ensure cold chain and HALAL compliance where applicable.
Warehouse & Distribution Management
- Optimize warehouse operations for capacity, cost, and compliance.
- Set SOPs aligned with regulatory and quality standards.
- Address operational issues such as cost overruns, process bottlenecks, and service gaps.
- Lead strategy for expanding business capabilities and capturing new market opportunities.
Transportation & Fleet Management
- Manage nationwide routing and deliveries to 300+ retail outlets.

- Drive initiatives to reduce transportation costs while ensuring service reliability.
- Oversee daily freight activities, particularly in the export market.
- Ensure cost-effective freight strategies while maintaining profitability.

Field Services

- Oversee routine capacity assessments and optimization projects in partnership with clients.
Financial & Strategic Planning
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets and overall P&L performance.
- Develop long-term strategies for operational scalability and revenue growth.
- Support investment decisions in logistics infrastructure, tools, and human capital.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key point of contact for strategic clients including major F&B chains.
- Maintain high service levels and proactively resolve client-related issues.

The Field Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business, retaining existing clients, and growing revenue across all freight forwarding services, including air, sea, and cross-border logistics. This role involves direct engagement with customers, overseeing sales pipelines, and implementing strategies to meet business growth targets.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute a robust sales plan focused on acquiring new clients and expanding services with current clients.
- Identify business opportunities across import/export freight services, customs clearance, and warehousing, and monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and local stakeholders.
- Act as an escalation point for complex customer service issues and ensure client satisfaction by collaborating with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, including revenue forecasts and pipeline status.
- Track team and individual sales performance using CRM tools and prepare business review presentations for internal and client-facing meetings.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in freight forwarding sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of international logistics, INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and trade regulations.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required.
- An existing network of logistics clients (importers/exporters) in Malaysia is highly desirable.
- Must possess own transport and be willing to travel extensively for client meetings.

Job Description
The new role :
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job advertisement posting, candidate sourcing, screening, and shortlisting for interviews.
- Actively source and recruit new consultants to support business growth. ·
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies. ·
- Liaise with relevant authorities on human resource matters to ensure compliance withregulatory requirements. ·
- Support timely and accurate payroll processing, ensuring alignment with company policies and statutory regulations. ·
- Handle statutory contributions and submissions including income tax, EPF, SOCSO, and EIS.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll and statutory reporting. ·
- Assist in the development and implementation of efficient HR systems and processes.
- Oversee HR administrative functions including leave tracking, medical claims, insurance, and staff movement updates. ·
- Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth office operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resource or equivalent ·
- Candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience in human resources or related position.
- Fresh graduate welcome to apply (Training will be provided)

- Basic knowledge of Labour Laws ·
- Familiar with Payroll Software
