Job Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Daily order and shipment arrangement:
Consolidate and verify shipping arrangement based on order confirmation.
Confirm order status and schedule to Packing/Trucking team.
Book with SMC or customer forwarder & prepare shipping docs for customs process.
Truck arrangement for pick‑up schedule.
Customs affairs with forwarder or customs broker.
File & maintain shipping document and records.
Co‑work with Receiving/Inventory/Logistics team at warehouse, as well as external dept. like Production/Sales/Buyer/RMA and others to fulfill shipping demand.
Timely response to urgent request, deal with abnormal orders & shipment return.
Comply with embargo and restricted policy to hold orders to forbidden countries.
Qualifications:
Diploma in business administration, Logistics management, international trading or other relevant territory. Bachelor’s degree or above is a plus for this position. However, candidate who have certificate or diploma with good working experience will be consider.
Ideally candidate has minimum 3 years’ experience of shipping in Malaysia locally.
Familiar with INCO term 2020, import/export procedure & customs affairs in Malaysia.
Solid understanding of customs valuation, rules of origin and harmonized tariff classification.
Strong interpersonal and multilingual communication skills, with the ability to build effective collaboration across teams and external partners.
Basic understanding in warehouse operation, SAP/WMS experience is an added advantage.
Strong attention into detail with ability to work effectively under pressure and in-time sensitive situations.
Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with various stakeholders.
Demonstrates high standards of ethics, professionalism, and integrity.
