Stay updated on industry trends : Keep abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and technologies in cloud computing. Continuously enhance knowledge and skills related to cloud platforms, services, and infrastructure.
Participate in on-call rotations : Be available for on-call support and respond to critical incidents outside regular working hours. Collaborate effectively with team members during on-call shifts to ensure timely incident resolution.
Requirements: Hold a diploma/high-diploma/degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience implementing public cloud solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP/Tencent/ Alibaba/Huawei Cloud) with a strong track record of successful cloud deployments(Certification).
Knowledgeable in cloud security practices or zero trust security concepts (IAM, MDM, CASB, SWG , Cloudflare,OKTA etc.)
Basic understanding of cloud network configurations, virtualisation technologies, and collaboration tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate and resolve complex cloud-related incidents.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
A strong interest in learning about cloud security practices.
Relevant certifications in public cloud platforms or cloud security are a plus.
Night shift work will be required due to project demand

- Provide timely engineering support for technical queries related to large gas turbines from both internal and external customers for the Asia Pacific region.

- Collaborate with global multi-functional teams to gather information related to upcoming outages to support the preparation and execution of gas turbine maintenance outages

- Prepare and communicate clear and engaging presentations for internal and external partners, summarizing outage scope, underlying issues, available solutions, etc.
- Provide technical expertise and support during outages at Siemens Energy Power Plants, assisting in solving (on- and off-site) and resolution efforts.
- Provide timely feedback and insights gained from outage experiences to enhance team capabilities and preparedness. This could relate to GT validation, operations, commissioning, combustion tuning, performance tests, balancing, risk assessments and root cause analysis.
What You Bring
- Bachelor/ Master of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical and Process) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field of work. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply
- Good general knowledge and experience in operations and maintenance activities of power generation equipment
- Experience in power plant operations or specific Siemens Energy turbine equipment and maintenance know-how is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to lead multiple tasks while servicing customers across the Asia Pacific region.
- Capable of working independently and collaborating with diverse, multi-functional global teams to seek challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Manage, monitor and arrange multiple site work requests from internal & external works.
- Prepare and issue Site Work Request Form and manage documents folder for hardcopy & softcopy in the server.
- Supervise, arrange, coordinate and control activities of the Site Work requested with Project Team & Customer.

- Improvise on existing site work planning products and scheduling for the company to make them more feasible and cost-effective for future growth.
- Provide support and respond to Technician difficulties at site.
- Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner.
- Other duties and tasks assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 3 years working experience in the related field.
- Preferably candidates with experience in switchgear or switchboard industry.
- Must be able to communicate well with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Able to travel from time to time to support site work.
