We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA FICO Support Consultant to join our financial system support team. The role focuses on providing day-to-day support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and minor enhancements for the SAP FI module in an S/4HANA environment. This includes working closely with business users, system vendor, and technical teams to ensure the stability and efficiency of financial processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Functional Support and Service Delivery

Provide day-to-day functional support for SAP modules including: Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting), Controlling (CO)

Project System (PS)

Address business-as-usual (BAU) support activities related to incidents and service requests:
Diagnose, investigate, and troubleshoot system issues and user inquiries.
Implement configuration changes and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
Ensure timely resolution of tickets within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Turnaround Time (TAT) targets.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI-related issues, including integration with other modules (e.g., MM, SD, CO) and external source systems.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes, escalating to vendors as needed.
Support E-invoicing, financial month-end and year-end closing processes.

2. Change Request Management

Manage and execute change requests, including:
Develop and update Change Scope Analysis (CSA) and functional specification documents.
Perform required configuration or code changes and conduct unit testing (including coordination with third parties where applicable).
Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate readiness and planning for production deployment.
Prepare and submit Change Deployment Templates and close tickets post-deployment.

3. Stakeholder Engagement and Training

Foster positive collaboration with stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA-related topics.
Work closely with business users to understand support requirements and ensure service expectations are met.
Provide guidance and training to end-users on SAP processes and functionality (e.g., invoice posting, report generation).
Help enhance SAP proficiency across the end-user community.

4. Project and Enhancement Involvement

Participate in enhancement and transformation initiatives with a focus on SAP functionality and process improvement.
Work with 3rd party system vendor on integration requirements.

5. Documentation and Compliance

Maintain and update user guides, training materials, and support documentation (e.g., Functional Specification Documentation).
Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary system documentation and process details.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field .
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing SAP FICO, including at least 1 year working with SAP S/4HANA.
Strong grasp of financial accounting principles and their application within SAP.
Experience with key FI processes: procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C), asset lifecycle, and bank reconciliations.
Familiarity with integration points across MM, SD, and CO modules.
Exposure to RPA automation tools and AI Joule is advantageous.
Knowledge of E-Invoicing processes is a plus.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Reporting to the FICO Lead, the incumbent is accountable and responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing SAP FI/CO modules within the SAP S/4 HANA infrastructure, acting as a key functional expert in the organization. This role requires significant experience in SAP FI/CO implementation and support, with a focus on financial processes and system improvements.

Job Responsibilities

Provides specialist level functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the FI/CO modules of SAP S/4 HANA.
Support production configuration and assist in functional change request. Perform initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality (not limited to):
Preparation of month-end closing and ensuring financial statements are in order
Profit and loss (P&L) analysis
Balance sheet accounts reviews and reconciliations
General Ledger (GL) and Cost Center (CC) master data management
Purchase price valuation (PPV) analysis
Supply Chain Management (SCM) reporting
Month-end closing processes
Quarterly reporting
Audits
Support of Liaison
Participation in annual budget preparation
Understanding FICO modules to the extent that he or she can suggest process improvements
Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.
Assist with responding to user requirements, problem resolution, develop designs, and process modeling.
Develops functional specifications and works with BASIS and ABAP personnel resources to complete object development and testing.
Perform break/fix analysis and recommend solutions for finance related processes.
Propose enhancements or improvements based on recurring reported issues.
Develop dashboard and control reports to identify errors and prevent issues during month-end closing.
Ability to co-ordinate and interact with multiple teams.
Ability to help resolve complex technical issues and independently manage critical/complex situations.
Work with SAP to resolve software bugs.
Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments and make recommendations.
Provides leadership in the development of functional skills in others through active knowledge sharing

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor / Higher Degree in the field of Computer Science or related fields; or equivalent experience
At least 4-8 years of experience in full implementation and supporting SAP FI/CO – General Ledger (GL), Account Payable (AP), Account Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Center Accounting (CPA), Bank Accounting, Asset Management, Cost Center, BPC, Treasury, Product Costing, COPA, exposure to country (Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines) specific tax requirements & GL, Project Systems, Funds Management and Internal Orders.
Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configuration, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transport to production, and post-go live support.
Proven track records for delivery SAP FI/CO solutions for business requirements.
SAP Certification in SAP Financial and Controlling areas will be an added advantage.
Experience in S/4 HANA working environment will be an added advantage.
Ability to accept and promote changes within organization
Ability to stay self-motivated and have a passion to win
Ability to demonstrate and cultivate a sense of urgency and commitment
Ability to demonstrate drive for results
Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken
Experienced user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
