Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with tender submissions and documentation is advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational capabilities.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Energy & Power team at Marsh Philippines. This role will be based in the Philippines. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will be working closely with regional and local Asian E&P, advisory, and engineering teams, contributing to sales growth and strategic initiatives within the regional E&P business.

We will count on you to:

  • Collaborate with regional and local teams to learn and understand Marsh’s E&P solutions and internal stakeholders across Asia and globally.
  • Analyze and conceptualize information to prepare compelling proposals for clients.
  • Identify key decision-makers, account needs, and underlying risks to determine the most suitable services, products, and solutions to meet client business objectives.
  • Extract critical business insights from various E&P databases (Power BI skill is an advantage; willingness to learn the platform is critical).
  • Develop complex sales presentations and support the design, development, and marketing of new E&P products.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence, leveraging various resources to stay informed about market conditions and client needs, and assist in developing effective sales materials.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new platforms, particularly Power BI, and adapt to a dynamic environment.

The Role

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
  • New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand needs and providing relevant solutions.
  • Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
  • Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.

Ideal Profile

  • You have at least 1 year experience within a B2B Sales / Account Executive role, ideally within the Precision Engineering / Robotics / IOT, Shipping and Transport & Logistics industry.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are a strong mentor and coach who can build high performing teams
  • You are a self-starter and demonstrate a high level of resilience
  • You are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholders

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue targets across training, consulting, and research verticals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate training, leadership programs, team-building events, and consulting solutions.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline of potential clients and partners through cold calls, warm leads, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and industry networking.

Client Relationship Management

  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key corporate clients, HR decision-makers, L&D managers, and industry leaders.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and present tailored training and consulting proposals aligned with business challenges and strategic goals.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up and client satisfaction to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

Proposal Development & Customization

  • Work closely with the internal team of trainers, researchers, and designers to craft compelling, customized proposals and pitch decks.
  • Coordinate end-to-end proposal submissions, including responding to RFPs and liaising with HRDCorp on grant-related documentation.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to refine value propositions.
  • Represent Client's at industry events, expos, webinars, and client engagements to enhance brand visibility and network growth.

Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate with the CEO Office, Training Operations, and Marketing teams to align efforts and streamline lead conversion.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, CRM updates, and performance reports to management on a regular basis.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in training, consulting, education, or professional services.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and building enterprise-level client relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, solution-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with HRD Corp grants and L&D industry practices in Malaysia is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and digital outreach platforms.
