We are looking for a researcher specialised in Supply Chain Management. As a Researcher at the Aerospace Malaysia Innovation Centre (AMIC), you will be expected to conduct extensive research and data analysis to optimise the end-to-end supply chain for Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF). This position requires a deep understanding of the unique opportunities and challenges within the SAF ecosystem, from the souring of sustainable feedstocks to the delivery of SAF to end-users. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive our mission towards a more sustainable aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse feedstock supply chains based on availability, seasonal variation, and feedstock quality.
- Identify and evaluate feedstock sourcing strategies to ensure practical, cost-effective, and sustainable supply for SAF production.
- Create predictive models to account for long-term planning based on feedstock availability, production capacity, and market demands for SAF.
- Evaluate regional and global feedstock market dynamics to anticipate supply risks and price volatility.
- Gather and analyse data on market trends, regulatory policies, and technology advancements in the SAF industry to inform strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability certification schemes namely Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials (RSB), International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) and ClassNK.
- Collaborate with feedstock, chemical process engineers, logistics specialists as well as software developers to integrate logistical data and mapping into a modelling platform.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Operations Management or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with the CORSIA framework, RSB, ISCC and ClassNK sustainability criteria.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data modelling and impact assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

- Lead complex research : Design and execute large-scale studies across SEEK's markets using the most appropriatemethods - interviews, surveys, usability testing, or mixed approaches
- Uplift research capability : Mentor researchers, designers and product managersand work with Research Operations to improve how we do research at scale
- Drive cross-team collaboration : Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and AI teams to ensure research findings translate into action

The Team
You'll join a 70-person research and design community that's passionate about understanding users and creating better experiences. As a Principal UX Researcher, you'll be part of the Candidate team. This is a collaborative environment where research findings shape real product decisions, and where you'll have the opportunity to influence how we approach research across SEEK.
QualificationsSkills and experience
- 8+ years conducting both qualitative and quantitative research with demonstrated impact on product decisions
- Degree in Psychology, HCI, Anthropology, Design, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading high-stakes research projects from question to recommendation
- Ability to take ambiguous challenges and create clear research plans
- Strong communication skills - you can present complex findings in ways that drive action
- Experience in consumer and/or business markets
- Bonus points for experience with UX metrics, competitive analysis, or workshop facilitation
