1. Work with the head of engineering to analyse user requirements and system design specifications.
2. Write and audit well-designed, testable, efficient code.
3. Assist in planning the development and modifications to the current in-house application.
4. Write testable code where applicable with high code coverage.
5. Contribute and maintain the application release documentation and adopt modern version control strategies.
6. Contribute to the application’s user guide documentation and educate users on how to use the platform(s).
7. Investigate and resolve any application/system problems as and when necessary.
8. Enhance application modules to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
9. Work with the team to deliver solutions in a time-sensitive manner using agile methodologies where applicable.
10. Identify and mitigate potential risks early in the Software Development Life Cycle.
11. Manage the relationship and communication with all stakeholders, ensuring the application is delivered to their satisfaction.

1. The candidate must possess at least a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science with at least 3 years’ experience in hands-on coding.
2. Excellent programming skills in C#, .NET, Web API, EF Core 8, MS SQL, IIS, database administration, React JS, and Functional programming. Knowledge of VB .NET and Windows Forms UI design is an advantage.
3. Experience with the use of Visual Studio and Telerik controls is good to have.
4. Experienced with version control technologies like Bitbucket, Git, and/or Azure DevOps.
5. Strong analytical and logical skills to troubleshoot and debug complex source codes.
6. Experience with working on legacy systems and migrating them to a newer stack would be an advantage.
7. Willing to learn new technologies and maintain code written in VB .NET framework.
8. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
