About The Role
Responsible for ensuring AIA's products, services and internal operations / business processes meet the required quality standards
Roles And Responsibilities
- To deliver all activities related to the facilitating and creation of accurate and clear User Requirements for all Digital system enhancements / projects / new products / production incidents related to the Customer Experience Division.
- To deliver all activities related to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) management of all Digital system enhancements/ projects/ new products/ production incidents related to the Customer Experience Division.
- To lead/ project manage end-to-end activities for small scale Digital projects, which involve system enhancements and/or business process changes within Customer Experience Division only.
- To streamline existing Digital processes to be more simplified and standardized across the business channels within Customer Experience Division.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience as business analyst position; preferably policy servicing department.
- Good command of English (both written and oral).
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Possess good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Office applications.
- Results driven and customer-oriented mindset.

As a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, you will be a bridge between the business and technical sides, ensuring software applications align with business needs. Your keen understanding of business processes and strong analytical skills will be instrumental in defining user requirements, documenting functionalities, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Understanding Business Needs: Analyze current business processes, identify areas for improvement, and gather requirements from stakeholders.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as facilitators, ensuring clear communication between business and IT teams.
- Documenting Requirements: Create detailed documentation outlining the needs and functionalities of a project.
- Solution Design and Analysis: Work with developers to design solutions, analyze their feasibility, and ensure they meet business objectives.
- Project Coordination: Play a vital role in project coordination, including:
- Developing and maintaining project plans and timelines.
- Managing project scope and ensuring deliverables meet requirements.
- Facilitating meetings, tracking progress, and mitigating risks.
- Coordinating resources and dependencies across different teams.
- Testing and Implementation: May be involved in user testing and implementation phases to ensure a smooth transition.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in Project Management and Business Analysis.
- Experience with at least 1 full project implementation.
- Full SDLC cycle experience in sizable software systems development.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of core business principles, financial concepts, and industry trends.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Ability to identify, document, and analyze business needs and stakeholder requirements.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools to extract insights from data.
- Systems Analysis: Understanding of different IT systems and their capabilities.
- Project Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices for planning, execution, and monitoring projects.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with relevant software tools like database management systems, workflow modeling tools, and business intelligence platforms.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science. 1 – 3 years’ experience in Project Management and Business Analysis. Experience with at least 1 full project implementation. Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Ability to identify, document, and analyze business needs and stakeholder requirements. Work you’ll do
Primary role is to facilitate in the review and approval of accepting prospective Business Relationships and continuation of existing Business Relationships which includes:
- Reviewing questionnaires submitted by business lines or internal services via the firm’s online system
- Performing document completeness review (quality control)
- Performing relevant checks, such as background check and independence/conflict checks, and obtaining relevant approvals
- Supporting business lines, internal services, and SEA RRG in resolving matters that arises during business relationship acceptance and continuance process
- Maintaining third party’s information for SEA RRG reporting purposes
- Providing ad-hoc support to SEA RRG and other team members as and when required from time to time
