We are seeking to appoint a Total Rewards and HR Operations Specialist for our EMEA & APAC regions, to be responsible for deploying and executing comprehensive total rewards programs that include Compensation, Benefits, Recognition, Reporting and HRIS functionalities across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions in 27 countries, with 5,500 employees. This position reports to the Total Rewards and HR Operations Director of EMEA & APAC.

The Role

In this role, you will:

  • Provide regional and local HR teams with support, guidance and focus.
  • Support the evolution of the Rewards and HR Ops Operating Model with a Lean and Data driven approach.
  • Support the Global Job Architecture Project implementation in the Region.
  • Conduct regular benchmarking analyses to ensure right strategic positioning.
  • Support the execution of the recurrent Comp processes: Merit, Variable Comp, Budget , and Reporting.
  • Deploy benefits programs (healthcare, retirement plans, wellness, etc.) tailored to regional needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the Rewards programs and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collect, analyse, and report with quality data to inform decision-making.
  • Support the implementation of the HR governance to ensure compliance with regional processes, legal requirements and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of policies & procedures.
  • Act as champion to educate and train local HR about efficiencies, data accuracy & new ways of working.

The Person

To succeed in this role you will:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR , C&B, or HRIS roles in a multinational environment.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Show resilience, flexibility, and organizational skills. Project Management certification is a plus.
  • Have strong prioritization and planning skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Be independent, structured, proactive and take a responsible approach of working.
  • Have strong team spirit , ensuring local HR teams are engaged and committed to timely project input s and completion dates .
  • Have excellent communication skills , including both listening and persuasion, in order to facilitate a sense of cooperation and collaboration. .
  • Have strong working knowledge of advanced Excel skills, and other MS Office applications. Power BI certification is a plus .
  • Be fluent in English. Additional language skills relevant to the regions are a plus.

The Global Benefits Partner is responsible for supporting the implementation of a global benefits strategy. Reporting to the Senior Global Benefits Manager, this role is integral to ensuring that ResMed’s employee benefits and wellbeing programs are fair, equitable, competitive, compliant, and meaningful to employees, while aligning with the company's overarching 2030 strategic objectives.

Let's talk about the role:

Benefits Program Management :

  • Oversee Annual Insurance Renewals
  • Collaborate with global and local brokers, as well as the People Delivery Team, to ensure efficient and effective insurance renewal processes.
  • Monitor insurance claim trends and work proactively with brokers, insurers and the People Team to secure long-term sustainability of programs.
  • Ensure the design and delivery of local benefit programs and policies align with ResMed’s global benefit framework and principles.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to integrate flexibility and choice into a holistic, employee-focused benefits offering.
  • Maintain the global benefits inventory and performance tracking tools for benefit plans.
  • Ensure benefit-related budgets and actual costs are communicated clearly and incorporated into business financial forecasts.
  • Actively participate in ResMed’s multidisciplinary wellbeing committees to drive impactful wellbeing strategies across key locations of excellence.

Benchmarking, Research and Employee Voice:

  • Conduct regular benchmarking: evaluate ResMed’s benefit against external market trends, best practices and costs to ensure packages remain competitive across all markets.
  • Use regular discussions with local and global stakeholders, as well as external partners, to identify opportunities for program enhancements and drive cost efficiencies.
  • Listen to employee feedback, insights, and survey results to understand the evolving needs of ResMed’s diverse and growing workforce.
  • Participate in professional associations to stay informed of industry developments, enhance ResMed’s employer brand, and share relevant insights with internal stakeholders.

Analytics, Insights and Reporting:

  • .Provide detailed analytics and insights on benefits utilization, including data trends, through reports and dashboards.
  • Assess the performance, effectiveness, and cost of benefits programs to inform strategic decision-making for future benefits offerings.

Compliance Management:

  • Monitor insurance claim trends and work proactively with brokers, insurers and the People Team to secure long-term sustainability of programs.

Communication and Employee Engagement:

  • Collaborate with external providers and the internal communication team to create and implement effective strategies that create awareness and understanding of the benefits options, maximizing their perceived and actual value.
  • Guide the People Delivery and Shared Services teams to adopt clear, continuous, and best-practice communication approaches, such as the “Embed, Promote & Tell” framework.
  • Drive employee engagement through dedicated activities and campaigns that promote understanding, utilization and appreciation of the benefits program.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with the People Team to ensure benefits programs support talent objectives and align with overall strategic plans.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including People, Legal, Finance, and Payroll teams, to ensure strong governance and seamless program execution.
  • Actively engage and influence stakeholders within the scope of responsibility to drive alignment and support for benefits initiatives.

Global Benefits Projects:

  • Participate in or take the lead on significant global benefits projects, including but not limited to:
  • M&A Activities : Conduct due diligence reviews, draft harmonization proposals, and develop project plans for integrating benefits during mergers and acquisitions.
  • New Country Entries : Define and establish benefits offerings for employees in new market entries.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to new external regulations and fulfilment of emerging reporting requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • A university degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of proven experience managing employee benefits programs and vendors across multiple regions (e.g. EMEA, APAC, LATAM), covering areas such as medical, life and disability insurances, retirement/pension plans, time off, wellbeing initiatives, voluntary and flexible benefits. Exposure to global programs is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to manage relationships effectively with both internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to multitask, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and effectively prioritize time and resources.
  • Thrives in an ambiguous and dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability to change.
  • Passion for analysing internal and external data and trends to generate actionable insights and recommendations for program improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver pragmatic, win-win solutions for global and local teams in a consultative manner.

What is your mission?
  • Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of Year-end Performance and Rewards Review Exercise

General Purpose:

Develop, improve, and implement compensation and benefits programs that align with Business strategies and ensure the total rewards programs can attract and retain the required talents in the market at all levels. Investigate total rewards related issues and propose solutions in a proactive and creative approach.

What a typical day looks like:

Design and deliver a multi-pronged Total Rewards (TR) communication strategy that will enable effective application of existing TR tools and processes across the organization. Design initiatives that will strengthen the effectiveness of total rewards programs in driving performance, attraction, engagement, and retention of the workforce. Provide functional leadership in Total Rewards to a composite team working to delivery HR strategy and support business success. Excellent business acumen and demonstrated competency in business partnership. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with senior management and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong project management, process management, analytical and consulting skills. Judgment, initiative, and tenacity demonstrated in an environment of rapid change. Effective verbal and written communication skills accompanied with cultural sensitivity. Excellent planning, co-ordination, and organizational skills. Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses. Demonstrates mastery of using market data resources and network for reports, methodologies, and findings to support TR projects and proposals, e.g. Mercer, Hewitt, WTW, or local market data supplier. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Demonstrated ability to protect and maintain data privacy. Makes Total Rewards decisions for the functions and the business segment in scope. Decisions may affect multiple sites/ segments.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or any related field. Typically requires 12+ years of professional management/direction experience, specialized in compensation and benefits in MNC

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist aligned to Consumer business will be part of Compensation and Benefits Ops Team supporting the identified markets (more than 4) in the Region.

The role will report to the Region Compensation and Benefits Ops Lead working closely with the Reward Centre of Excellence and external providers. This role holder will function as Country SME (C&B).

Role Responsibilities

  • Answering daily queries regarding benefits and compensation like external or internal offers, benefits contract renewals, base transfers, bonus calculations, C&B policies design and review, Benchmarking support, all types of Equity fitments (IJP, internal offers, promotions, ad hoc adjustments), Departure Bonuses, analytics, design, deployment and Introduction of new benefits based on need.
  • Support Compensation & Benefits in processes like; job evaluation, market data analysis, benchmarking, salary reviews, annual pay review process, total employment cost analysis, bonus calculations.
  • Provide support for cooperation with the new/existing Benefits vendors (data analysis, preparing presentations, obtaining customer experience data);
  • Lead and participate in projects in scope of compensation and benefits.
  • Review of annual recognition awards ranges.
  • Support with benefits survey submissions.
  • Partner in developing communications to ensure that employees are aware of our Benefits offering / for specific initiative.
  • Effectively manage country stakeholders.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent English language and any other language required for the local market is a must.
  • University Degree
  • Benefits administration and management experience is preferred but not required.
  • Well organized with attention to details person focused on delivering tasks within time and quality requirements.
  • Analytical capability and skill for managing significant number of data.
  • High level of expertise in standard MS Office software (word, excel, PowerPoint);
  • Good communication skill, deliverable-oriented work style; comfortable with demanding deadlines and exacting customers.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks & work as part of a team, in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience in a HR, Administration or similar areas gained in a large corporation or a specialist consulting organization.

The Position

The Payroll, Time and Benefits team focuses on payroll administration, ensuring payroll result accuracy and timeliness and audit risk free. The incumbent should be familiar with statutory regulations, income tax, and any relevant implications resulting from international employee transfers, severance schemes and new payroll policies.

Involved in the full cycle of payroll processing such as undertaking payroll calculation, performing payroll reconciliation, preparing payroll accounting, general ledger and reports, etc. Other responsibilities include monitoring the processing checklist and calendars, maintaining precise documentation, providing data / report for respective statutory filing within the stipulated deadlines.

  • Execute system data maintenance and administrative activities in support of P&Cbusiness processes in the area of payroll, tax, social insurance, time, local andglobal benefits administration.

  • Provide customer service on pay, time and benefits related activities, such as inquiry resolution, request management, and troubleshooting.

  • Ensure that all union negotiations (if any) associated with PTB activities should be handled properly and in a timely manner

  • Manage, process and reconcile mass upload files for all pay frequencies.

  • Monitor data flows to/from Workday to Vendor for accuracy

  • Ensure integrations are processed timely and resolve any errors ensuring accurately processed

  • Ensure regulatory compliance in line with the countries, customers, andregulations.

  • Actively Initiate and participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

Who you are
You bring the following experience:

  • More than 2 years of experience in payroll services, in a shared service center environment for Taiwan & Hong Kong preferably.

  • Knowledge of payroll cycle and processes /benefits operations and processes

  • Knowledge of Workday P&C Processes

  • Deep Knowledge of local tax and social insurance

  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability and advanced Excel skills (pivot table, v-lookup, etc.)
