Interior Designer in Architecture ! Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design in Architecture or a related field. Minimum 2 years experience in Interior Design/Architecture field. Strong foundation in architectural work

is

required

– must be able to understand and produce architectural drawings, layouts, and construction detailing. Basic skills in design software:

Photoshop

and any other software. Skills in

AutoCAD, Sketchup and Enscape

should be a mandatory skills required. Advance in

Planner 5D, 3DMax and Chief Architect

will be an additional advantage. Advanced skills in using industry-standard rendering tools; experienced in rendering for any projects is highly desirable. Must be able to present a portfolio showcasing successful

interior architecture

or

architecture-based

projects. Tasks & Responsibilities: Engage with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and constraints. Develop mood boards, design concepts, and flyers

to visually communicate project ideas. Prepare

design proposals

for land and property development projects. Attend

client, internal and site meetings

to present design works and concepts confidently. Propose

fresh, creative ideas

that align with project goals and client expectations. Assist in

CAD works , including preparation of architectural drawings, layouts, and detailing. Conduct on-site assessments to gather accurate measurements and assess spatial constraints. Adapt designs based on on-site conditions, ensuring

practicality, compliance, and cost efficiency . Adjust proposals or material selections in response to

client feedback

and

budget constraints . Work effectively on

multiple projects simultaneously , ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Remain

flexible and adaptable to change

when project requirements, client expectations, or budgets shift. Create

renderings and video presentations

Overview

Project Architect is responsible for architectural design planning and implementation of the assigned projects. Ultimately, you will assist in developing design plans, and monitoring the project implementation at all construction stages to ensure the compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage architectural functions of small-scale projects or assist Lead/Senior Architect on larger projects.
• Design, check and calculate all assigned architectural matters.
• Supervise Graduate Architect and assist senior team members with the analysis of information, produce of designs and computations.
• Assist in preparing specifications, proposals and other documentation under close supervision along with applying a variety of standard methods and techniques in solving problems to complete the tasks.
• Accountable for submitting a high quality of work accurately including routine letters, reports, standard documentation, presentations, etc.
• Accountable for providing all information in an articulate and organised manner within the agreed timeframe.
• Execute and maintain planning and systems related to design, ISO, company goals and objectives.
• Assist Lead/Senior Architect in conducting tender interview and analysis when required.
• Manage site coordination, review and inspection.
• Monitor construction works of contractors and construction personnel.
• Assist Lead/Senior Architect in managing the liaison with clients, consultants and local authorities.
• Review and analyse architectural inputs that apply into construction drawings and cost plans.
• Prepare, maintain and manage architectural drawings, documents, and other related data in an organized manner.
• Ensure the BIM input and output are accurate and able to generate information and quantity for verification purposes.
• Monitor the design aspects of construction works to ensure the sites implement the respective designs according to the endorsed design and shop drawing.
• Ensure the building design is in compliance with all the local authority requirements and meet the timeline to obtain CCC.
• Manage and coordinate post construction process.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior and/or the management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in architectural design and layout of infrastructure or building construction for hotels projects, with minimum 2 years of consultancy experience.
• Good knowledge of design, construction and building systems.
• Well versed in relevant latest software in regards to building and infrastructure design.
• High visual awareness and attention to detail.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; excellent problem solving skills.
• Strong technical expertise related to design and construction.

LBS Bina Group Berhad Responsible for the smooth and proper implementation of architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and design standards. Involve in planning and design coordination process from conceptual design, zoning layout planning, room interaction process, material interaction process to construction and completion within the established budget, schedule and quality standards.

Job Descriptions

Project Management:

Responsible for the smooth and proper implementation of architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and design standards. Involve in planning and design coordination process from conceptual design, zoning layout planning, room interaction process, material interaction process to construction and completion within the established budget, schedule and quality standards.

Design And Documentation

Analyse architectural designs that meet market requirement and project specifications. Checking detailed drawings and specifications. Ensure design solutions are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.

Coordination And Collaboration

Collaborate with other design professionals, including architects, engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects, to ensure a cohesive design approach. Participate and attend Client & Consultant Meeting for the overall planning, landscape, masterplan and technical meetings to ensure the design intent is maintained throughout the construction process. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities to ensure all aspects of the project meet regulatory requirements and project specifications. Coordinate with internal departments, such as Quantity Surveying, to address issues related to contracts, building materials, and specifications. Attend meetings with authorities and consultants, prepare detailed reports, and communicate effectively to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project progress.

Quality Assurance

Review design layouts and details to ensure safety, practicality, cost efficiency, aesthetic value, functionality and customer experience. Ensure that all design work meets quality standards and complies with regulatory requirements. Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence strictly to the approved designs and specifications.

Innovation And Research

Stay current with architectural trends, Technologies, and best practices. Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative solutions into projects. Conduct research and analysis to support design decisions and improve projects outcomes.

Job Requirement

Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Architecture. Preferably at least 2 years of related working experience. Preferably Executives specializing in Architecture & Design. Good communication skills in English, Malay and/or Chinese language for both spoken and written. 1 Full-time positions available. Seniority level
